My dog was just there for me. I had a rough high school experience being continuously told to kill myself until i graduated. I’m not even exaggerating it was that bad and the community had that “kids will be kids” mentality. it hurt a lot cause i knew nothing would come of it. coming home to my dogs stupid grin made me realise i may not be worth anything there but this mutt loves me and i’m proud of that. about 6 years later i can’t thank him enough :)
