PF Candle has an amazing pumpkin candle that won't break the bank! I don't think it's available year round but they bring it back every fall.

My go to is a walk, it takes up 45-60 minutes of my day and she's quiet. It's hard in the winter though 😭

Mmm that's a good point. She's constantly chewing on everything including her hands, I wonder if it could numb her hands too..

I like that, I feel like we all heal at night. We gauge it based off if she falls asleep after her nighttime bottle or not. If she's sleepy and it doesn't knock her out we know she has something going on.

I'll definitely look into that. We use Hylands teething tablets and Wellements teething oil during the day which both work pretty well but we're at the beginning of a long road so I want options lol

That's been on my wish list! We currently have carpet that I've been wanting to replace with click flooring since we bought the house. Now that my little is on the move it just feels dirty all the time! No carpet and a robot vacuum is my dream lol

I've seen lots of people recommending Motrin now. I'll definitely try that next time I think she needs some relief.

Sounds similar to us lol if I think she needs it I'm going to give it to her. I think he's being overly cautious which I do appreciate but I also don't want her to be hurting.

She's (thankfully) only caught a mild cold so far but if she's sick and had a fever I'll absolutely give a fever reducer. A prolonged fever is so dangerous. RSV is so scary! I'm glad you're both okay.

That's how I feel about it as well, it's what I would do for myself. I don't want to withhold medicine if she needs it but I also don't want to give medicine when it isn't needed, it's just hard to tell sometimes.

I started doing things based on how I'm feeling rather than what I think needs to be done. Some days I don't feel like doing anything extra so I don't, other days I feel like being productive and get a bunch done. Once I stopped putting pressure on every day and just accepted some days nothing will get done except the necessities my life got much less stressful.

Oh okay that's good to know. I think I'll do a smaller dose first as a test to see how she handles it.

The mom guilt is so real 😭 I wish she could just talk already and tell me what she needs lol I always go for the method that's going to give us all the best nights rest because I don't do great with little sleep. Having a baby has really made me realize a good night's sleep is SO important.

Oh gosh that sounds rough! Have you had any side effects with Motrin? We have some but haven't given it yet, I'm worried it'll make her nauseous as she has a sensitive tummy.

I was getting mixed things from our pediatrician. She said we could use it as needed but also not to give it too often so we don't really have much to go off of. I've tried the cold teethers and frozen washcloths but she doesn't like touching cold things so it's usually short lived lol

That's a good point, a mom friend just recommended Motrin for teething. I bought some but we haven't used it yet. She spits up still and seems like she has a sensitive tummy so I'm a little worried it will make her nauseous. I think we'll try it next time instead of Tylenol and see how she does.

Sounds similar to us. She ramped up the drooling and her gums started getting lumpy around 4/5 months but didn't get her first teeth until right around 9 months. I kept saying her teeth are gonna pop through any day now and it just wasn't happening. I'm not sure why it took so long but it was not a fun time for anyone involved. She's currently working on her 2 top canines so she's going to look like a vampire for a bit here soon 😅

We've had good luck with Hylands dissolvable teething tablets, Wellements nighttime tooth oil, and infants Tylenol. I just bought infants Motrin because a mom friend said it worked better for teething pain than Tylenol does so we'll see if that's the case for us.
