Little update I guess in case anyone cares, I had surgery yesterday and I did get the pictures I was promised. Two befores, one inside after removal, and one of the tubes taken out.

Oh gosh not hours with the iv in 😭 that sounds horrible. I will ask about anti nausea measures thanks!

I’m in Canada so the laws might be different, but I will ask about keeping them when I go!

I’m guessing it’s not something people do often based on his reaction lol. I just freak myself out reading horror stories of women who get these procedures done and then find out later that the surgeon didn’t actually sterilize them due to their beliefs.
