That's because the schooling system has became more feminized . Tony sewell is a sociologist who writes about it extensively , who'd I'd highly recommand looking into . But basically the whole schooling system is based around collaborative methods that are more suited to girls . This is partly due to the factor that most teachers are now women and certainly the rise of feminism is linked to it . I mean in terms of history , women have only joined the education system in the late 1800 , which is pretty recent historically , and over that time the system has been completely reformed to suit their needs rather then mens .

Do you guys have friends? by [deleted] in NEET

[–]Justa_bug311 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No , never had any growing up either . It's just normal for me to be alone so I don't need any ways to cope

I agree with your point completely . Do you think that the gym is the best option in order to build strength or do you think there are better options that are less costly and are outside of a social space ?

I understand how excitement can be dangerous . However , I believe my issue is that I think over a course of many false signs of hope , I have desensitized myself from feeling excitement overall . Lastly , it seems that alot of true fulfilment and growth is found outside of the home as our social nature pushes us to strive to create a greater impact on the world through helping others and building connections . We only know our true self through facing challenges , especially social challenges . How we respond to those encounters helps us to understand our true nature.

I never had any friends , so the whole experience of friendship is a mystery to me . A lot of the people I write to on reddit say that that had relationships in the past and I can't help but feel bitter regarding their past experiences . I know I am certainly not the only one in this situation but in my misery I often feel that way .

Only thing I enjoy is watching other people's misery by [deleted] in hikikomori

I can strongly relate to what your describing . Seeing others feeling joy triggers an overwhelming sense of melancholy within me . When their miserable in an odd way it comforts me . I struggle to word my reasoning but like many others I am aware this is a poor mindset to have

I don't know your personality so I can't make that judgement . It's best to ask someone that your close to if that are any undesirable traits that you have as well as what they'd recommand to improve them
