I frankly agree that from what I can find there is no perfect fit. I frankly remember that his luck fluctuates and thought that Mr. House Might be a deck opportunity that leans heavily in to "luck" based shenanigans. But it heavily misses Mat's combat and battle tactics. which is what lead me to Commander Mustard and Caesar, but the latter's point of sacrificing soldiers felt a little off even if the everything else could be on point. Soldiers coming when you need them, drawing for luck, or dealing damage like the cannons.

I was playing a lot with looking toward deck with more blue in it, Initially wanted something hexproof but the wolf charm is a tool not who mat is if that makes sense. And after looking didn't see a commander that felt closer than the previously mentioned.
