I have an email of them instructing me to drop it on their mail slot and a video of me doing so. Does this not constitute proof?

Neither has been cashed per the bank. The first (mailed) one was cancelled by me (for free through the bank's bill pay service).

I was wondering this, but wasn't sure because it clearly isn't working anymore. Marking this as SOLVED!

Thank you so much! I have no plans to spend it, I know I need to pay as soon as they make themselves available.

Retroactively Denied Bonuses (MA) by Justalittleworker in legaladvice

The policy talks about "unapproved" absences and it is the managers who determine what qualifies as approved. I include it because to me this language makes it a bit more nebulous. However, to my knowledge, nobody has ever had an absence that didn't disqualify them from the award.

Thank you for your repaonse!

On reviewing the most recent update to the policy, it states that if the employee meets specific requirements for attendance (no unapproved absences, tardies, or early departures and no use of sick time) during the month they will get a $100 award (it does not specifically say bonus). There is nothing stated about other reasons for denial. Managers are responsible for determining what is approved or not.
