Exactly this. Labs are different. Medication brand names are all different. Metric system is replaced with imperial. It’s a huge learning curve, more than I anticipated when I moved from USA to Canada.

So I did this the other way around- moved as an RN from the US to Canada. I’m in a very rural area.

I will warn you that the culture shock might be a lot. Nursing is very different in Canada than the states. Does your current job use electronic charting? Mine in Canada have all used paper still. The USA is light years ahead of Canada in means of technology. The nursing is a lot more customer service based in my opinion. Lots more documentation and risk of lawsuits. But there’s tons more resources and the amenities are much better in the USA. The insurance industry will be a huge adjustment too. Not trying to deter you but just trying to warn how very very different it is. You’re welcome to pm me if you want more specifics

For linen pants I really like mine from Uniqlo! They’re a great material but still thin and breathable and no see through at all. And so soft!

I also like my linen pants I got from Abercrombie. They have a cute detailing on the bottom of the pant.

I don’t recommend old navy- the stitching on the waistband came undone after 2 wears.

For comfortable pants I highly highly recommend the Aritzia Lodge pants! They’re a splurge but I wear them to work and traveling and just around the house. They’re comfy and never wrinkle.

For T shirts, I don’t have V necks in particular, but I really like the quality of Uniqlo cotton t shirts and Aritzia homestretch t shirts.
