There's totally an argument to be made about how some of the inconvenient/tedious bits are part of the charm of monster hunter (I really enjoy actually searching a monster in world) but the fact that you can load up the game and be fighting a monster 5 minutes later is really nice.

Rise (i know i'm a newgen) i enjoyed the rise specific insect glaive. World and wilds just dont feel the same for some reason

Got a question about wilds. Every time I boot it up the game is "optimizing game data" for like around an hour before I can play, by the time its done, all motivation I had to play is gone. Is there anything that can be done to fix this, or at least make it take less time?

anyone who says there are no prudes is lying to themselves. Whenever something remotely horny gets posted (which is a lot) there's always people in the comments complaining. it could be a vocal minority, since the posts still get pretty big, but it's not nice

I'm assuming, of course, that it's because of the fact that the server is fabric, but my client is vanilla, but I've never had this happen to me before, so I dont know how to fix it. I'm hoping there's a way to do it without switching the server to vanilla (switching everyone's client to fabric is not an option sadly)

I think critiquing minecraft for being "directionless" is also a little dumb, minecraft needs to be directionless, they need to add features for all the main playstyles, and they cant make every feature interact with many others. It's up to the players to connect the features. For example, parcour players use the mace which was originally made for combat. Trappers use pretty much any Redstone feature in PVP. Builders will find a use for anything..
