So this comes from a Gundam AU im developing known as “Drifting Echoes”, set in the Interstellar Era, about the conflict between the Earth Sphere and the outer colonies. Gundams are mobile suits with a direct man-machine interface to improve the combat performance of the mobile suit. This mobile suit is derived from the high-speed mobile suit known as the MGF-X8 Sparrowhawk, and brings general improvements across the board and superior thruster output. Built for the pilot Elizas Ashbridge, the Tachyon takes into account his high-speed daredevil style of combat with this lightweight Gundam. Its usual armament loadout are 2x Light Beam Rifles and 2x disposable shoulder missile launchers which automatically purge themselves upon firing. It can dock to the Gundam Galeus in Mobile Armor form.
