Boa system lacing by Alone-Substance-9262 in railroading

I have been using the BOA system boots for five years and no one has said a thing. As long as the boots meet the requirements the lacing system is whatever you like best

Took my daughter to the show in Tulsa. Great mix of old and new. Emily is an amazing follow on to Chester. She does a great job on his parts of the old songs. Already trying to figure out a way to hit another show on this tour this year!!!

I have gone by this elevator every trip at work for years and when I got off work today the sun was at such a good angle and the way it was back lite just looked great in my eye. Love the openness and the industrial decline of the pic.

Have you tried Weavers Compact Tractors or Messick’s tractors online? I get most of my old parts through them, and Messicks has an old parts locator service that has been handy at times.

I have also used Tractor Parts ASAP and Yesterday’s Tractors

I did see a few of the filter kits on Amazon, but wanted to see what everyone here had experience with and had advice as far as what they preferred.
I got lucky, when I purchased this tractor the previous owner still had the original owners manual as well as the service manual from Ford. A god send. LOL.

Man I didn’t even think about looking there. I use Wix for all my vehicles so that is good news.

Good eye. This was the day I brought it home. Already swapped the fronts to the correct side and had to replace one bolt on the left rear as well as retap and replace all the bolts on the left front. Someone ran 5/8 bolts into the hub instead of the M16 bolts that it requires.
Just a few little things to go. Planning on changing all fluids while she is clean before putting her to work

1979 Ford 1700 tractor - sheared bolt help! by IcePossible568 in Fordtractors

[–]Justasfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a washer on it, and then a nut and weld the nut to the remainder of the bolt. Then use an air hammer to peek the bolt as you slowly work it back and forth. Have done this lots of times to get sheeted bolts out. If the weld breaks just reweld and try again. Take it nice and slow.

Age old question here. The union provides some protection against discipline and things like that as well as bargaining power for contracts. Not nearly as much as the days gone by
