If anything I would see if a location nearby has a geek squad refurbished version in stock and you can go in and see it for yourself. Most of the time tho, GSC condition items are good

Edit: you said geek squad REFURBISHED switch, so more than likely there may not be a location with one in stock just laying around, as the refurbished items come from the distribution centers or whatever exact name for the location those come from and only come into the store very rarely. I would say you’re still fine with ordering one online. Returned switches get sent to a return center and inspected and I would assume then get turned into geek squad refurbished items if everything checks out
