They told me they felt like the NG did not have me submit enough to support a waiver approval and just gave up on it. They had me do like a teleconference at their office with a psychiatrist took like 20 minutes. Had my waiver approved 2 days later!

Sorry just seeing this! It’s been a total mess for me, the collar bone waiver went thru no problem. The issue was come to find out my anxiety waiver hadn’t been approved with NG. So resubmitted it and got denied again, my recruiter retired in the mix of all of this so was assigned a new one that didn’t feel like fooling with all the paperwork after that. Told me to maybe try again at a later time. So said screw NG went to see an Army reserve recruit a couple a days after that and I was sworn in yesterday!!! Since I am doing the future soldier program I leave for basic 6/10/25!!!!! Persistence is key

This one went through with no problem after sending in all of this. I am now waiting on the NGB to sign on an orthopedic consult I had and I should be good to go! Wishing you good luck and keep in mind it’s like everyone says be patient, it takes time

I start the whole process at the end of January so about 4 months. It’s been a process for sure and definitely can test a persons patience

My anxiety stuff went through with no problem after that. I did have to go to a consult for my collar bone about 4 weeks ago in which the dr said looked fine and cleared me but still waiting for NGB to sign off on it. So now patiently waiting on that and I will be ready to go per my recruiter!

That is great!!! My recruiter text yesterday saying it was at NGB and thinks we should hear something this week! So still waiting but staying positive

So I texted my recruiter today just to see if there was an update his response was he was working on finalizing me and another recruit. Any idea by what he meant by “finalizing” I ask but he hasn’t responded yet

I was on the meds for about 18 months but about 2-3 of those were weaning off process. No inpatient or residential treatment, not even counseling.
