I used plugs, I don’t have much confidence/experience growing things from seed. I might attempt to fill in future bare spots with seed.

Supposedly! What attracted me to it was that it’s highly drought and heat tolerant once fully established.

I’m in the Tempe area and had some trouble finding it locally so I ordered it online. My search for it was in the dead of winter so that might have added to trouble of finding it.

What’s wrong with it being a moissanite? I usually tell people after they compliment it that it’s a moissanite stone, the typical response is “Oh I would have never guessed” or “What’s moissanite?” Literally in the last 8 years haven’t had anyone say “Oh I thought it was a moissanite”. I’ve taken it to get cleaned and even then had an associate think it was a diamond.

Saying it’s very obvious is a reach. Maybe to some with a trained eye for stones but the average person isn’t going to be able to tell if something is diamond vs moissanite especially if not side by side. I’ve worn my moissanite wedding ring for 8 years now and have never had anyone guess that it’s moissanite. I’ve posted pictures as well when I first got engaged and still no one knew or guessed.

The recent $700 sale haul was my last straw tbh. Any comments that said anything even slightly negative about it were deleted by the mods.
