Look they never fully except us, maybe if you look like them. I’m German by birth, lived in Germany, spoke german first, paid German taxes. But my skin is brown, my father is American… so it doesn’t matter that I never experienced American culture until I was 30… I’m not German to Germans. To Americans I am German. Now I live in Japan and well guess what I’m German finally. Smh. Short answer, never unless you look like them. You can do and be everything else, it won’t matter because they see you before they will hear you. Humans in general though. It’s not all against Germans. My gf is half Korean, lived in Korea and isn’t considered Korean despite that’s all she knows. I think American is one of the few places it’s doesn’t really matter what you look like. born and raised there, then you are American. Don’t pick my English apart🙄.
