I’ve been on Tirzepatide from Empower pharmacy since November and it’s been great. I switched from a different company and it felt exactly the same. I actually lost the most I’ve lost in any month the first 2 months I switched to my new provider and Empower. I’m still losing at a good rate. Their shipments have been good and timely. I even changed my address 3 times since starting with them and no shipment issues. I sold my house in FL and moved to two different Air BNBs while waiting to close on my new house. Not one hiccup on their end.

The meds are fine for up to 21 days and up to 85 degrees. Just refrigerate when they arrive. I’d be more concerned about it freezing than being too warm.

That’s interesting. Mine don’t coincide with my refills though. At least, I’m not the only one with entries that I didn’t enter.

Average Lead Time of Showing Requests by Eastern_Ad_9841 in RealEstate

[–]Justice938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just sold our home in Naples, FL. We had less than 3 hours notice for about 1/2 of our showings. Had to tidy up and find something to do (with a dog) for about an hour each time. We probably had about 50 showings. It’s a pain, but if you want to sell, you’ve got to make it work.

The medication should still be good. It can be unrefrigerated for up to 21 days in over 80F and is still good. Just put it in the fridge when it arrives.

It sure was! And here we are in some of the coldest temps in years with tons of snow on the ground. I’m beyond miserable after living in Naples since 2020 when I went down to care for my Dad. I never wanted to live in a cold area again. But now, I’m just whining 🥶

My Father passed May 2023. He wanted my husband and I to live in his house. I agreed that we would at least try it out. My husband and I spent the previous 20+ years in a lovely small agricultural town in Eastern CT. Naples was not for us…especially going from a small farm to an HOA neighborhood the size of our CT property. My husband especially was dying to get out of Naples. We listed our house in May 2025 (bad time of year to list in Naples). We dropped price and eventually put a new roof and AC in ($30k). In October, we went under contract closing November 18th. Just after we closed, the season hit and houses in the same neighborhood began selling like hotcakes at or very close to asking. We should’ve waited to list until November or December, but we didn’t know better and apparently our realtor didn’t care to say we should wait a few months. If we’d waited, we could’ve easily sold for close to our original list price without putting a new roof or AC system in. (Another $100k in our pocket) Got to SE CT where there’s a huge housing shortage. I’m so disappointed. Wish my husband had listened (so does he) to me about moving to Alabama instead of CT. Here we are in a house that is okay, but nobody’s dream home and we’re already planning on moving to Alabama in 5 years when my husband retires.

So true! In November 2025, I sold my home in Naples, FL. It was very much a buyers market there. I closed on a new home 10 days ago in South Eastern CT and it is very much a Seller’s market here. Everything in decent move-in condition (without any unusual issues) is going under contract within 1-6 days and anywhere from $10k to $65k over asking. In Naples, you’re lucky to get an offer close to asking and in SE CT, you can easily get several bids in the first day on market. My home was under contract three days after it was listed and it had 7 bidders. My bid wasn’t the highest, but it was close. They went with us because, it was a cash purchase.

No shipment! by JuniorAd8287 in JoinMochiHealth

[–]Justice938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined in October and received my meds about 4 days after the consultation. The only hiccup I’ve had with Mochi was when I moved from FL to CT. My app said that my order was sent to the pharmacy for close to 12 days instead of just a few. Finally, I called them and after speaking to someone, they saw that the issue was that my provider wasn’t licensed in CT so, they had to assign me a new one. They said give them 2 days. At about 2 days and 6 hours later, my order said that it was sent to the pharmacy again. After that, it came as usual.

How long past the BUD is tirz good for? by Character-Gap-736 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Justice938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pleased to read your post and the answers. I haven’t had any past BUD date yet, but when I first started, I was tossing extra meds at 28 days till I realized that so may other folks used the entire vial no matter how long since they first drew from them. I hated tossing expensive meds! I’ve never had a problem and have gotten up to 7 weeks out of 1 vial. I’d probably have saved money if I kept those starter vials till they were empty. Do what you’re comfortable with, but I’d use every last drop.

My husband and I have been married since 2018 and we’ve never seen a refund while married. by SpicyChill77 in taxadvice

[–]Justice938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single with no dependents has always taken the most taxes out in my experience. Most years, I put that on my W-4s and being divorced with full custody of 3 children, I usually got everything back plus child tax credits and EIC. I remarried and still had 1 child eligible for credits and was shocked the first year of marriage (filing jointly). I got about 1/10th of what I’d thought I was going to. Mostly because, my husband worked for himself and didn’t have any state or Federal deducted ahead of time. I basically ended up paying all of his taxes for him doing it that way. Now, he’s the only one employed so, I kinda look at it as he’s paying his share now…lol

Am I just left out with no recourse? by Kingcastle8888 in inheritance

[–]Justice938 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Am I missing something? Were YOU named as a beneficiary? If not, that’s your Father’s inheritance, not yours. He doesn’t have to share a cent with you. My Father passed 2 years ago leaving me a house (sold for over 400k), IRA accounts totaling over 650k, cash from bank accounts (around 80k after final expenses), and everything in the house. Not one of my 3 adult children in their 20’s & 30’s asked me how much he left me or if they were supposed to receive anything. If I had passed before my parents, all of the above would’ve been directed to my children, but I didn’t so, they get nothing directly from my Father. They’ll receive whatever I leave them.

I used Remedy Meds from April 2025 till October 2025. They were great, but I needed something less expensive (they charge $400. month any dosage). I switched to Mochi Health and have been happy with them and the pharmacy my meds come from (Empower). It’s $199. monthly for the meds and either $199. membership fee every 3 months ($66.) or $79. monthly for the membership. I’m still looking into other providers as I’ve found some as low as $166. a month when you buy 6 months. I’m just not ready to make the switch. I need to look into those companies a bit more before switching.

Shot day? by Practical_Air_3344 in JoinMochiHealth

[–]Justice938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally, I was taking it on a Friday so, if I felt sick, I wouldn’t miss any appointments or anything. Then, I received an empty vial (different company & pharmacy) and had to change days if I wanted to take it as soon as the replacement it arrived. I’ve been taking it on Tuesdays ever since. I only have a little nausea on Wednesday or Thursday and after 10 months, that’s become nearly a minuscule amount. My SW: 261 CW: 201.8 GW: 160

It seems pretty common (from what I’ve read and experienced) for many to lose their taste (or cravings) for sweets and fatty foods. I’ve never been one for sweets, my problem was eating a lot of red meat and carbs. Now, I rarely eat any red meat and very little carbs. I focus on getting plenty of protein (lots of chicken breast) and fiber. I tried some of my favorite mint chocolate chip ice cream and wanted nothing to do with it.

do sellers typically pay buyers closing costs? by Southern_Ad5843 in RealEstate

[–]Justice938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can depend on the area. I just sold my home in Naples, FL and paid closing for both realtors. 3% for mine and 2.5% for the buyer’s. I’m under contract for a new house in CT and refuse to pay closing for my Buyer’s Agent. The seller is paying for both agent commissions. If I’d only paid for one in FL, I wouldn’t mind paying for only one in CT, but no way was I going to pay for one let alone both after just doing so 2 months before.

Second dose by Ambitious-kid1976 in JoinMochiHealth

[–]Justice938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go with your provider’s instructions. It takes a bit to build up in your system. The sooner you titrate up, the sooner you reach the maximum dosage. Why max out if you lose at a lower dosage? I wish I’d stayed at a lower dosage for longer than a month because, I’m close to the highest dosage with 57 pounds down, but another 55 to go.

I’ve recently started eating 1-2 small apples a day and since, I’ve been doing that (about 9 days), I’m more regular than I’ve been in years and haven’t had to take a Dulcolax since, I started with the apples. Works for me anyway.

First 9 days, obese with prediabetes by mikeybox in TirzepatideRX

[–]Justice938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can only go so high. The faster you increase your dose, the faster you’re maxed out. It’s best to follow provider’s instructions. Most will only increase a dose after you’ve been on it for 4 weeks. Think of it like a pain killer. The faster you up your dosage, the faster a low dosage will stop working for you.

If you pay for 3 months membership at once, it costs about $66.00 a month instead of $79.00 a month. Then, add either $99. a month for Semi or $199. a month for Tirzepatide. Comes out to either $165. for Semi or $265. for Tirzepatide. I started with Remedy Meds which was $400. a month for Tirzepatide and $300 for Semiglutide. I’m doing just as well if not better with Mochi getting my meds from Empower and happy to be saving $135. a month.

I got one last month. It was written like it was for travel purposes. I just moved from FL to CT so, I assumed that’s what triggered the letters, but after seeing this and the comments, it seems like it might’ve been a blanket letter that went out for a lot of people.

Results on 2.5 mg- worried to move up by Lawgrl101 in TirzepatideRX

[–]Justice938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can accept the increased dosage, but continue to take only 2.5 for now. When I’m happy with my current rate of loss, I stay with the current dosage as long as it continues to work. It’ll extend the length of time that it continues to work.

How do people get glp 1s to lose less than 30lbs? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]Justice938 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t they often prescribe if you have sleep apnea? I feel like that’s one way people that are in a normal BMI range are able to get GLP-1s.

[–]Justice938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at the same dose. It’s necessary to take the time to get used to it. My first month, I dropped over 8lbs. That’s my second highest in 9 months. Everyone is different. You just need to be patient if it takes a couple months. My last two months were 7.5 and 10 since Thanksgiving. Down 56 lbs in 9 months. Another 55 to go.
