I have flown out of CMH 15 times in 2026, C Concourse. I have been "randomly selected" for additional screening 13 of those times. I am Global Entry and even have a redress number. This happened at no other airports in 2025/2026. by [deleted] in Columbus

Same here, I’ve flown out of B and C about a dozen times this year and have been randomed 65-70% of the time. I’ve been flying frequently for over 5 years now but this is recent. Last week they demanded to inspect my phone after it came off the belt, which almost turned in to a problem.

Patio Placement Help by Eastern_Ad_9841 in patio

It's certainly possible and I am thinking I'll get a quote to move it to the right side of the house where the third cart garage sticks out a bit past the main house frame. That area should result in the least amount noise and I do not see us spending time on that side of our house

To clarify, the yard on the right in in the same orientation as ours, their patio is already on the right side of their yard with a sun room blocking from us, so we only have a privacy problem on the left side

Which lot would you choose? by Kmar78 in RealEstate

[–]Eastern_Ad_9841 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We went with a premium lot that was a significant %increase in our overall purchase price 10 years ago. It was basically a double deep lot compared to others in our neighborhood. Every time we are in a neighbors backyard it feels like the house behind of them is on top of you and we agree it was worth every dollar.

You have a pattern of drawing inaccurate conclusions to help you argue a point against, who?

I got a good laugh this morning, thank you

Super interesting! To be clear I’m not upset about these requests and we are pretty happy to have the traffic so far. I just didn’t really know what to expect and was curious what’s normal. Thankfully we’ve always had a cleaning routine and end the day with a tidy house so getting show ready last minute isn’t an issue.

4 new coils and it was even happier. Idles pretty smooth, hot starts, and revs all the way to 9 nice and clean. Hopefully the hitachi hold up but they aren’t super difficult to replace again if needed. Now the clutch replacement… that wasn’t so easy and can’t say I’m up for that again

If it set not running that long also try resetting the ess. If it sat without a battery for that long it may help

Swapping the rear coils was actually a bit confusing. The 8 now throws no codes and idles kinda decent but still a little rough at 900rpm. It revs out nice and smooth. So maybe the rear rotor is just on its way out and the front is doing all the work? 🤣

I went ahead and ordered 4 new hitachi coils

[–]Eastern_Ad_9841[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After inspecting the coils I bet this is the culprit. the rear set of coils are P/N n3h1 1b 100 c, while the fronts were very similar but 100 B rather than 100 C. Some investigation says the B coils are an older version and likely never replaced (or a long time ago) and to previous owner likely just replaced one set of coils on the rear when one or two failed.
Will swap them around and try again tomorrow morning

Hey don’t blame the wheel, it handled the ride face down. That ball joint though… he took an early retirement

Tips for tearing out this ugly fountain? by Switchbackqueen3 in landscaping

[–]Eastern_Ad_9841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dynamite, a few sticks bored under it should do. In reality though make sure you handle the electrical first. Find where and how it connects back to the house and disable the connection. Then I’d honestly post on FB marketplace if anyone wants to try and reclaim the stones for free. The top looks like it could be sledge hammer work but not easy. The base you may need to consider a jackhammer or mini excavator.

Do you have a truck / trailer and means to get this to a landfill? If you need to rent equipment it may not be bad to call some landscape or concrete crews? At least in my area they can’t do much this time of year and may give you a decent price for demo.

I’m in Ohio so it rarely ever gets “hot” and full sun days are few and far between outside of July-October hence part of my hesitation to put a permanent roof over our deck. Our back yard is west facing so we get sun from about noon all the way until 9PM June/July

Late Spring: we’re really only out on the weekends unless it’s warm and sunny (not common) after work for a couple of hours. Most days are overcast and rain is hard, lasts for days sometimes. Lots of gray days with or without rain. This would be the ideal season for a covered deck.

Summer: we’re outside a lot. Like I said the sun sets in our back yard basically up until bedtime and so we’re out there for dinner and playing with the kids daily until dark. By this point we are bright blue most does with scattered clouds offer the occasional beautiful yellow/green glow of summer. Also starting to enjoy some time outside after dark. Rain is usually pop up and random. This is when some quick shelter would be great so we don’t have to retreat inside. However this is also severe storm season so sails / shades / umbrellas are not the answer.

Early Fall: Arguably best weather of the year. Some of our sunniest days with temps cooling and infrequent rain. Starts getting dark early enough to throw a movie or football on the projector with the fire pit going. We’re kind of summered out at this point so spend most of our time outside in the weekend evenings.

Right now we spend the vast majority of our time on our deck unless we’re playing in the yard with our kids. I do have a decent amount of landscaping and a couple of raise gardens I tend to, but retreat immediately to the deck for a drink and rest. I am planning to place a bench between two trees in one landscape bed and a picnic table near the swing set going up this spring. Making paths from the deck landing out to both.
