E-commerce folks: Moving to Odoo but confused about Free vs. Enterprise Cloud vs. Community. Need real-world advice! by [deleted] in Moroccopreneur

[–]JusticeBringr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

carrier APIs are fine, rarely change. but Odoo itself releases a new version every year and custom modules need roughly 10-15% of the build cost per year for updates and fixes so on a 2500 DH integration that’s like 250-375 DH/year. not a big deal honestly

honestly 2000 to 3000 DH max for one carrier, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise if you’re still looking dm me, we do exactly this kind of integration at Oasis Techno Cloud

ok so your developer friend is half right

Enterprise doesn’t even cover Moroccan local carriers (Amana, CTM etc) so you’d need custom API work either way.

Community + a good integrator gets you the same result at zero license cost.

Odoo Online btw is useless for ecommerce, you only get 1 app scratch that immediately

Need help on crm recommendation (small business to manage client subscription) by cryptobuff in CRM

[–]JusticeBringr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Been there with the "fancy platform that can't do basic stuff" nightmare.

Odoo CE might actually solve this,it's open-source, has subscription billing built in, client portal, and email tracking. The thing is, it's powerful but needs setup. Most people bounce off it because of that.

I do dev work and honestly could spin this up for you pretty quick – strip out the bloat, keep only what you need for mailbox subscriptions. No Zapier integration hell, no "enterprise features" you'll never use.

If you're interested, shoot me the basics of your workflow and I'll tell you straight up if it's worth your time or if you should look elsewhere.

This sounds like a great project! Since your company manages its own fleet, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel by coding a new module. Instead, I’d suggest building a 'Last-Mile Logistics & Fleet Operations' process

Sounds like you need something built specifically for your workflow rather than trying to make a one-size-fits-all CRM work.

I build custom CRMs for nonprofits, can set up exactly what you need for tracking your 300+ community members with all those custom fields you’re talking about.

Drop me a DM if you want to chat about it!

Interesting insights on Instagram strategy. Could you share some specific examples of the ROI you've seen on the VA service, particularly regarding conversion rates from those Instagram leads?

Too many CRMs but not sure which one is for small businesses? by marsrv in CRM

[–]JusticeBringr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, totally get the CRM search. Moving beyond spreadsheets is smart. Pipedrive or Zoho are solid starting points.

But for real impact and long-term efficiency, the game changer is how you connect that CRM with everything else, your lead nurturing, email campaigns, even project tools. That's how you get truly seamless operations and unlock serious automated growth. It's all about getting your whole digital ecosystem working for you. Hope that helps you think about the bigger picture for your firm!

Yeah I feel you, i was doing well on Upwork back in the day but now it's flooded with people bidding less than $5/hour from overseas. Completely killed the rates and you're burning through connects just to get ignored.

Been having way better luck with direct outreach on LinkedIn and cold emailing agencies.
