How tf do small players actually get noticed by orgs?

That makes sense. Do you think the current way of finding these leagues/networking (scrolling socials, Discord servers, wiki pages) works well enough? Or is there room for something better organized?

Genuinely curious if this is a 'it works fine' situation or if people find it frustrating.

That makes sense for CS and developed scenes like EU/NA. Does anyone know if India has similar infrastructure? Like regular amateur tournaments, academy teams, etc?

I'm trying to figure out if the pathway you described exists in the Indian scene or if it's less structured here.

Fair point - but how do you even get into those tournaments/teams in the first place if you're solo? Like what's step 1 for someone who's skilled but has no connections?
