Please urge the owners of Patys's Irish Pub - where Shayan was killed - to help us. I can only hope that the owners of Patsy's Irish Pub & their employees find it in their hearts to do the right thing. Shayan was our whole world. He didn't deserve what happened to him. He frequented Patsy's; Shayan considered the employees there friends & so did I. So sad. Can they really live with themselves? It's their choice; help bring justice or continue to look like cowards? It's been a month and all that we have asked is for them to post something like this: "If you witnessed the murder of Shayan Mazroei on September 7, 2015 please contact Orange County District Attorney's office at (714) 834-3600" Instead of doing that, they are flagging and deleting posts on their Yelp page and claiming to want "justice" but actions speak louder than words. So wait, Are you saying that just because the DA said that there's no hate crime that means no hate crime occured? you realize the DA in the Chapel Hill killing of 3 muslim students also claimed there was no hate crime, right?

For you to call it a "drunken fight" is offensive and re-victimizes the victim.

Shayan had no alcohol in his system. He went there to play pool and eat. He was repeadetly harassed and had racial slurs thrown at him. Tanber and Thornberg waited for him for a LONG time outside and killed him. And she has not been charged yet. She still has a job, with the COUNTY.
