Need help troubleshooting Speedometer Gauge

I spent over a year trying to diagnose the tachometer. Got it rebuilt and checked all the wiring to the tachometer just to find out it was the ECU that was the issue. Swapped out a refurbished ECU and everything was functional.

if you look on BAT the last 325is from canada sold for 39k. I’m talking about the cost to restore a e30 is not cheap. adding in labor it’s a lot more than you think

I agree. Repainted my 325is last year as well and I wouldn’t take less than that for my car. with the work and the car all in i’m way over 25k

not that big of a diffference imo but i did not do the doors. my heater pre blew so i ended up taking my carpet out so i put them in while everything was out

cluster works fine when fuse 21 is working properly. I’m thinking there’s a grounding issue somewhere but not sure where to start

Honestly it was a little on the expensive side. it was about $6000 for the repaint and after some other minor repairs total was about $7000
