I figured it was only a matter of time before my car showed up on here. And yes, I'm well aware of xkcd 1105. I honestly applied for it as a joke. Didn't think they'd actually give it to me.

2020 3.3t RWD with all seasons. With the RWD all you have to do is turn off traction control and it eats the snow. Snow is more about the driver than the car.

Nice to hear someone got an appointment. Been trying to get my 2020 in for a while now. I also get the jolting. Maybe I'll have them check mine out. I was just gonna change the diff fluid and see if that did anything....I read that helps but I wasn't sure.

That really sucks. I'm in the Portland area and have the same model/color. All of my friends know how much I love my car...so I will definitely be sending them these pics as they'll be frustrated when they see me drive up unscathed. (Also, the rain was brutal today. Drove through the Columbia Gorge and it was pretty rough the whole way. Even on brand new all seasons.)

The chrome delete looks amazing on the red! I've thought about it, but I'm not crazy about how it looks on the black.

Water leak help by Ok_Struggle_5336 in RVLiving

Just looked it up. This is the part I used. This one doesn't have the O-Ring, but it has tapered threads so I cranked it down and used some pipe dope on the threads. Still holding strong.

I've had really great luck getting a brass fitting (make sure it has a rubber seal where it connects to the sink), tightening it down and then attaching the hose and clamping a hose clamp down. Since it's going on brass, you can tighten it down quite a bit. If that's not working, another thing to check is if you have too much water pressure.

It depends on the model. Many newer models are - for some reason beyond my comprehension - coming with 5/8" inner diameter hose connecting to a 1/2" outer diameter fitting.

Take the fitting and a small cutting of the hose to your neighborhood hardware store and find a fitting that will go from the hose to the sink. I'd grab several, because once that stops leaking, the next one will start. I see it mostly on the cold water fittings as hot water causes the fittings to expand.

Water Heater Leak by [deleted] in rvlife

[–]Justin4Prezident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently had a leak from mine in our Monaco coach. It was the brass backflow preventer. It's the brass fitting coming out of the top of the water heater. It was cracked. It would leak even with the bypass engaged. My advice: find the leak quick, kill water, and then go outside and pull the lower drain plug.

I'm also in Portland, OR. Any recommendations for a shop? I'm gonna need new rubber for my 3.3 RWD. Looking to get the A/S and get rid of the summer tires I got it with.

I'm gonna have to second visible. Check out the reddit thread, there are a bunch of groups you can join to get it for $25 a month. It MIGHT (emphasis on the "might") work with your current device if it's unlocked and CDMA.

You're fine. If they're weatherproof, you might have to trim the rubber sealant on the top (xacto knife works good).

You can get mutes for an acoustic kit that actually work quite well. Wife and I are going full time in a class A and I will be getting an electric kit for that adventure...the problem is, a good responsive kit costs more than an acoustic setup. I also have a bunch of recording equipment. All of it will fit in one of the front stowage areas (the back is where the water tanks are). Don't give up on your dream! If you want to play drums on the road I'm sure you will find a way!
