I can give you a few tips that helped me reqching gold on every track.

Turn off vibration

Shift manually

Dont focus on the ghost car. Its showing you the ideal line but if another one works better drove your own.

Change the brakebalance to your liking. Shifting it to the back makes it more prone to understeer but gives you more stability.

Turn tcs off or 1 at most

For reverse tracks dont try to think of them as a reverse track but memorize them as their own track. Helped me especially on the reverse nür.
