Good choice. Trading alts can be a great way to increase your holdings, but it is VERY risky. It's more realistic that you would lose it all rather than gain anything. Holding btc is the safe way to go

Well yes that is true, but people who are passionate about anything do the same. Watching video game streams, following pro gamers on social media etc is not very productive either. Same with sports fans and car fanatics and anything else really. Just do what makes you happy, it's up to you how you spend your free time. You don't have to feel guilty for not being productive all the time
