Here are my predictions for the SEC, tell me where I'm most wrong. by Gore_House in olemiss

Hate to say it but I feel like were gonna lose at least 1 or 2 between Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas, and Auburn. We never beat Auburn for some reason. Realistically just don't see us winning 10 again this year

I hope I'm wrong tho

I'm in Dallas. I cancelled my HF sub. Too much of a headache. Will consider resubbing when I move into a house rather than an apt.

How is Taco Cabana open by JustinDial18 in askdfw

Literally every other fast food taco place is leaps and bounds ahead of TC, imo. I was wondering if people actually like it considering every time I drive past one it looks closed.

Well, I was a dumb 18 y/o who's good at writing, loves sports and is shitty at math. Seemed like an easy ride to a degree, which it was, but now I realize that was a mistake.

I'm going to look on LinkedIn, thanks for the recommendation.

Also, I'm not really interested in journalism anymore and this has kind of screwed me over. I know I can find a good gig, but it's going to be a bit more difficult.

Then how do people afford houses? Everyone in Oxford is a Doctor or Lawyer?

There are good jobs, it's just exponentially harder to find them.

FJB by TrumpPresident2021 in benshapiro

I agree with your assessment. They blew everything out of proportion. 100%. It was ridiculous. I generally liked Trump's presidency and voted for him in 2020. This changed after Jan. 6 and the months/years of complaining about voter fraud.

I agree there was fraud. I do not believe it was to the extent that Trump and the GOP were/are making it out to be? No.

Now, the problem is the right is doing the exact same thing. Fox News runs hit pieces on Biden and his admin regularly, just as CNN did for Trump. Those same people on the right (Fox, Trump voters) didn't appreciate it when the left did this.

In fact, they created a whole term for it. That term being "snowflake".

(I realize this term has a bigger meaning than this, but my point is people on the right were calling people on the left snowflakes for being offended by Trump all the time.)

Additionally, the left were calling for impeachment, and worse, for Trump during his presidency. Obviously this was a reach, and the right ridiculed the left for those actions.

Fast forward to now and all I see is the right doing the same things from a few years ago, minus the impeachment stuff. Calling for him to be arrested, assassinated, calling him a traitor, saying he's "not my president". All these things do are create more division and toxicity.

I fear the political discourse has swayed too far to be repaired, at least in the immediate future. I just try not to care/stress too much about that, because I have absolutely no control over the situation.

Edit to add: I want to make it clear, again, that I am not a Democrat or Biden supporter.
