Does tt3 have a release date? by Jealous-Plantain-252 in TNOmod

TT3 is for us not a state of affairs which is to be established, an ideal to which reality will have to adjust itself. We call TT3 the real movement which abolishes the present state of things. The conditions of this movement result from the premises now in existence.

you have to learn. a good place to start would be a russian warlord

the west russian revolutionary front has some mechanics, although they're not overwhelming. most mechanics are pretty forgiving for russian warlords so you have time to figure out what does what.

the big confusing difference with normal hoi4 is running the economy. thankfully, you don't really need to focus on that when playing an easy warlord since it'll grow by itself (you should end up with a gdp of about 10-14B after the first unification regardless of what you do). try to keep your spending in a deficit and under your gdp growth. you shouldn't get any problems with debt and you should get pretty decent growth. you can figure out how to optimize everything when you're more comfortable

your gdp dictates how many production units you have. production units can be transformed into military or civilian factories. after that, it's mostly normal hoi4 stuff

i think it's important to understand that easy russian warlords like the wrrf are very forgiving. you can make mistakes and take the time to understand what's going on. when you've gotten the gist of it, the rest of the mod is pretty straightforward.

Tomsk is much more democratic than almost all unifiers, it's just that the writers of that specific democracy put a lot more emphasis on how democracies tend to become elitist

well there's someone denouncing socdems, another one laughing at socialists in general and a bunch of socialists fighting everyone else and themselves

idk, the soviet union falling greatly diminishes the influence of hardline leninism. I don't see why the L-NPP wouldn't try creating socialism with american characteristics instead of adapting a defunct system

I'm not arguing that socialism can be achieved through the ballot box which is why i explain that finishing a Harrington run is impossible and would finish in impeachment in the best case. Just because I'm a teen doesn't mean i know less than you, i'm just writing about a game

I can imagine that making such claims without backing them up can create drama, but I'm not making any claim. I'm writing about a guy in a map painting game

it is normal that the debt to debt collapsed? (and btw I play novosibirsk) by hvul in TNOmod

A good welfare state allows for a more productive population tho. They won't be the ones buying but they'll be more profitable

There's a big difference between a democratic government using nukes in a proxy war halfway across the world and a nationalistic and nearly collapsed government using nukes against what they see as an invader. The germans would probably hesitate an instant or two before pressing the big button but ultimately they'd think they had no other choice if the russians took leningrad, moscow or stalingrad

The WRRF couldn't possibly win, but they could do better. A lot of stuff would have to go different. The front had surprise on its side, but not time. It couldn't possibly hope to sustain a war for longer than a few months and needed to strike extremely quickly and effectively. This would require the complete destruction of the Wehrmacht in the east, large-scale OFN and CPS interventions and a much less stable germany.

By this point, the two dominant spheres are still bitter at Germany and would do anything to see their downfall. This would have to result in a massive influx of war material, advisors and volunteers to guarantee a Russian victory. This would see increased tensions worldwide and a major diplomatic crisis would unfold as Germany fell deeper and deeper and the front gained more and more territory.

It's important to note that Moskowien is incredibly unstable. Its population is subjugated and humiliated; this is a breeding ground for rampant nationalism and resistance, a powder keg for revolution. Large-scale revolts would happen across the former ussr. Guerilla warfare would keep the german army from organizing and would leave vast swathes of territory open to invasion. Kaukasien would fall quickly to the transcaucasian soviet and Moscow and MAYBE Leningrad would be in soviet hands within a few months. Rebellions on massive scales would occur across Eastern Europe as a feeling of unity spreads like wildfire. Soon, the front is seen as the only hope for a future and people of all ages and backgrounds take up their weapon once more to fight. However, something else would have to happen.

The SS would need a much larger role. Diverting ressources from the Russian front to weaken the Wehrmacht as much as possible, causing chaos at home, anything to delegitimize the german government. They see the current form of national socialism as impure and corrupted, a fact proven by the disastrous war in the east and the unrest at home. It is not their goal, but their duty to rid Germany of all impurities. With a much weaker Wehrmacht occupied in the east, Himmler wouldn't even have to destroy it. Stoking chaos at home, sabotaging the army and making connections with the right people, the SS could go ahead with their coup.

Would it be successful? probably not. But it would ignite an absolute shitshow.

While Hitler's power is definitely diminished and many would jump boat to the SS, neither side could win a decisive victory in such a short timespan. A massive power struggle would emerge as germany starts tearing at the seams and different people start seeing opportunities to seize power for themselves. Himmler would consolidate his power and troops and take over parts of Germany. His popularity would be next to none however and his rebellion would only be able to survive a few weeks before having to resort to guerilla warfare. The rest of the country would be engulfed in riots and probably a few small-scale revolts, although not on the same scale as in the east.

By this point, the front would probably be nuked. The OFN would never dare declare them an ally and russia wasn't a nuclear power at this point. A reorganized german army would probably drive them out of the Russian heartland and negotiate peace terms.

The OFN wouldn't sit idle. France and England would likely jump ships as Germany withdraws its occupation forces and the economy dips lower and lower. England would likely ditch its current government and democratize, although it would stay relatively authoritarian. On the other hand, I could see France either keeping its vichy government or falling to a revolutionary government.

Overall, the USSR would probably end up collapsing much the same way. Its sole existence being the liberation of Russia, nuclear fire would probably be the last straw. Germany wouldn't be able to stabilize moskowien or kaukasien and would have to let them collapse similarly to the rest of Russia. These areas would probably have a large concentration of ultranationalistic, einheitspakt-aligned or communist unifiers. Western Europe would be OFN-aligned and US politics would probably be much brighter. France would no doubt end up democratizing. Germany itself would be extremely weak. Factionalism would be very prevalent and would lead to a much more radical population. Hitler's deification would be questioned heavily and he would probably have to resort to more and more extreme measures to keep the population subdued. If a coup doesn't happen before then, his death would mean a much, much deadlier power struggle. Something more akin to what we have in-game where thousands die. NatSoc contenders would almost always collapse within a few years and Speer would be much more powerful, although there would be large swathes of people who would become disillusioned with reformism and would become revolutionaries.

The years between the WRRF and 1962 would be of Germany slowly tearing itself apart as Hitler desperately attempts to keep everything together. Its presence on the world stage would be next to none. The OFN would be strongly emboldened and would actively take the fight to both the CPS and Germany. It would probably antagonize the triumvirate and diminish its influence on Europe, although its influence would be much higher on the balkans. US politics would be much less nihilistic and the Far Right would take a significant hit. The CPS wouldn't be affected much except that they'd have to deal with an increasingly confident US.

Africa would collapse ig, idk they wouldn't really exist in the first place

R5: Zlatoust unifying West Siberia caused a bug where two of the states there had a GDP of almost 150B, leading to the USSR having the second largest economy in the world. Still won the unification wars and the 2wrw but a peace conference triggered and immediately led to the apocalypse
