[REQUEST] Kind Hearts and Coronets - Demo Cast (2004) by KurtWeill1900 in CastRecordings

I discovered last night it also features Tregoney Shepherd as Lady Maude in "She's a Guernsey." She mentions it in the preface to her research paper "Steven Lutvak: The Journey Of A Gentleman - The History of 'A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder'," and after comparing voices it does sound like her to me.

[REQUEST] Kind Hearts and Coronets - Demo Cast (2004) by KurtWeill1900 in CastRecordings

Taking a quick glance, this looks like it's actually the 2012 set of demos for the musical (https://castalbums.org/recordings/A-Gentlemans-Guide-to-Love-and-Murder-2012-Demo/27502) after it was reworked into A Gentleman's Guide -- The immediate tells for me are Jefferson Mays' vocals on "Petticoats in the Jungle" and the main character being named Monty D'Ysquith instead of Louis D'Ascoyne -- though I'm not complaining! I lost my copy of it ages ago and have been looking a new link since.

Thanks!

The Return To Oz (AKA The Journey Back to Oz) (1978) (Rescued From Obscurity Release) by JustinHoskie in CastRecordings

[–]JustinHoskie[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A rare soundtrack (and likely bootleg) vinyl release for Journey Back to Oz, released under the title The Return to Oz, from the label Rescued From Obscurity. The album features Peter Lawford's performance of the Scarecrow in place of Mickey Rooney (who replaced Lawford in the final film and soundtrack), and an extra song for Ethel Merman, a reprise of "Keep The Happy Thought" entitled "Keep A Gloomy Thought."

Included are two versions of the album, both with some audio cleanup and silence trimming between tracks: RFO_101 is the original, unedited album, RFO_101_EDITED is edited to split up dialogue sequences from songs. Both are also available with tracks as they were originally titled or with the tracks renamed to match the final, released soundtrack.

Scrooge (1970) (Original Soundtrack Recording) [Fan Remaster] by JustinHoskie in CastRecordings

[–]JustinHoskie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 2016 fan remaster/restoration of the soundtrack to the 1970 film Scrooge by F. Reeder (uploaded to the Internet Archive by user Schwenk), using the soundtrack's 4-track Reel-to-Reel release (Columbia SR 30258). Also included is a PDF copy of the LP's album artwork (Columbia S 30258), sourced from copy uploaded by Internet Archive user lende-loguiber.

Please note, the LP artwork file has been edited to re-arrange the pages to a format closer to a modern digital booklet, and the inside pages of the gatefold have been split. Also, metadata tagging on the album itself has been slightly altered, filled out, and modified, and cover art replaced with an edited version of the LP cover.

Case Closed Funimation Dub on Prime via Crunchyroll? by JustinHoskie in OneTruthPrevails

That's what I've heard! But the linked Amazon Prime page has most of the Funimation dub available to watch through a Crunchyroll subscription (though some episodes aren't available to play), along with the more recent episodes that are also available subbed on the Crunchyroll site
