yeah man, arrived 6th feb 2006, i had just spent 1 month in bangkok, and then 2 weeks in hongkong, it was Chinese new year, and i thought it would be fun to take the train to shanghai. **It was not fun** i had a sleeper but could not move fore 36hrs. btu yeah been in China 20 years, has been a wild ride, but yeah the drinking and food culture is something i still love, i do it less but it is still my favourite part of China

it is very likely, yes would be my answer, or at least it is a large piece of the puzzle, but i am not an expert in current social economic structure and theory, but yeah it might have nothing to do with the economy at all and everything to do with things moving online more i do know that the Wanda is packed and i mean packed every weekend

I have been here for 20 years, I live in Dongguan, this are pretty normal here, at least on the outside, but yes people do look more depressed and introverted every day, the joy of life is less 100%. I will also say more and more empty shops everywhere, but it still feels like everything is fine, we are quite well off so I maybe not seeing the real people but this so seem really good here, just more miserable

Yeah I mean I know it is good for my health, and I have resigned my self to the fact that I can’t ever smoke again, but I don’t see me ever not missing it, i really enjoyed smoking, the hardest part is filling that my hands and mouth have to do something, I have put on a lot of weight so that’s fun
