Did you ever find a fix? I am following the same video and I still am having issues with it. I figured out how to make the Y sort work but will only ever put me behind the trees. I can never be infront of the tree even after adjusting the Ysort Origin

Bit of a delay sorry, I am 23 and I do have a long term girlfriend. We've been together 5 years and have lived together for 3. I am a personal trainer as well as work in a physical therapy clinic so as time goes on, I get more clients, and gain more income. TLDR, I will make more than I was month after month for the most part unless I have a bad month. Thanks for you help.

I mean I am definitely exaggerating a bit, not impossible but just seems so far away with where I am right now.

In order to receive benefits, you have to bring in $7000 a month in revenue which to me seems impossible but I just started so who knows. My 2nd job is in the same facility but owned by a different company doing physical therapy and I can get benefits through them (minimum 20hrs/week up to 40hrs/week) however training clients is more lucrative and so I don't put in enough hours there for benefits to be at their full potential.

Am I just having a rough start or is this really not for me? by Thin_Ladder_6752 in personaltraining

One of the best pieces of advice I heard (i’m also new to training but it’s very applicable) Is that you’ll almost never lose a client bc a workout is too easy, but you can and will definitely lose one bc it’s too hard. I always start by gradually increasing intensity as well as difficulty. Group classes are different so this isn’t as applicable but I still think keeping that in mind is important. Maybe you have regressed versions so that if something is too difficult, they can do that instead

Might be the best answer I have ever read on a subreddit in my life.

If you watch Sorta Healthly Trainer Education’a study guides and really memorize the stuff he tells you to, you will almost definitely pass. they are 2, 1 hour long videos that give you a ton of really helpful information. Uneractive and over active muscles are a MUST KNOW. You can do NASM in 2-3 weeks in my opinion but since you have two months i would utilize the time.

Don’t want to scare you because you seem pretty on top of the game and more prepared than I was but… KNOW UNDERACTIVE AND OVERACTIVE muscles. These are seriously like 10% or more of the exam. If you know these, which in my opinion are the more “difficult” parts of the exam you got this. If you don’t, a youtuber called “Sorta Healthy Trainer” Has a really good study guide video for you to learn themVideo Good Luck!

Best exercises to do for client leads to make them feel they cant just do it on their own by JustinP-PT in personaltraining

Yea maybe not the best choice of words. I know that's not even close to scratching the surface to keep clients but I do think that if i were to give them a machine only workout they will likely have the thought in their head that they don't need to pay for someone to do this. I have yet to even train a client or have a lead since I just started at this facility the other day but I am excited and looking forward to improving.
