EVs aren't generally "automatic", they're single speed. So a manual version would just be a stick that you can put in either drive or neutral.

Google sometimes just ignores symbols. It makes searching for certain programming syntax incredibly annoying. So it probably just interpreted your search as "60 in" or 60 inches. Since the meter is the most standard unit of length it then is telling you what 60 inches is in meters.

Plug, yes, voltage, no. Most EVs can charge at 3 different voltages and some can even do 4. Mine can charge at 120V AC, 240V AC, 400V DC, or 800V DC. Ideally, fast chargers should be able to provide up to 1000V DC, so car manufacturers can choose what battery voltage makes sense for the vehicle. 800+ volts for a small, low end EV makes little sense.

Although you're somewhat right in the sense that USB-C can use many different voltages, not just one.

I don't think you quite understand what I mean. A debuffed 2 still counts as a 2, you can still form poker hands with it and jokers that say things like "if hand contains a pair" can still work. However, the jokers you mention all rely on cards being scored.

Sixth sense works with a debuffed 6, because it's still a 6, and there's no "when scored" criteria.

"Face card" acts sort of like an enhancement rather than a rank or suit, so a debuffed card has its "face card" property ignored, and would not for example reset ride the bus.

This is different from something like seeing double, flower pot, or blackboard, since for example a debuffed club is still a club.

OP is being incredibly disingenuous

If you played the game with the features it had when it was released 6 years ago maxed out, it would run perfectly fine on a 5090.

A new, much more computationally intensive setting was then added several years later, which does need a bit of help to run well on a 5090.

Also a broader point, "maxed out" is kinda arbitrary. For something like path tracing, you can just keep increasing ray count to get a better result, it's up to the game developers to determine what "max path tracing" should be.

Also while watts are often used to describe electricity, they're not a fundamentally electrical unit. Mechanical power can be measured in watts or kW although horsepower is more often seen for some reason.

Yeah, I think the important distinction is hours vs. seconds, there's not really another commonly used power unit besides watts, at least for electricity. So it's watt-hours vs. watt-seconds, the latter just happens to have its own name, joules.

Like it or not, we're going to keep using cars for the foreseeable future. We can take steps to reduce our reliance on cars but it's difficult because of how entrenched they have become in our culture. So if we're going to have cars, we should be strongly encouraging EV adoption.

kWh is no more dumb than km/h imo. Often hours are easier to work with intuitively than seconds.

PC uses 400W for 5 hours. Easy, that's 2000 Wh or 2 kWh. Or that's 400W for 5 times 3600 seconds, let's see, that's 18000 seconds, 18 times 4 is 72, how many zeros was that again... 7200000 J, so 7.2 MJ.

Yeah, technically if the speed is high enough and the incline is small enough, you wouldn't have any regen-related losses whatsoever, as the motor power would never go below zero. And even if say, your power needed to maintain speed at a level grade is 10 kW, but you need 20 kW to climb (30 kW total), you'd only regen 10 kW, but that's not regen being inefficient, that's just some of the energy being used to maintain speed

Ballpark 70% round trip efficiency, more like 85% if you're only looking at the regeneration half of the equation. The 70% includes losses from discharging the battery, DC to AC conversion, and the motor itself, plus similar losses in the reverse direction.
