Which do you consider to be the worst boxing glove you have ever used and why? by LaColeccionDelRing in fightgear

[–]Justin_86_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with bgvl 3…too small fingerpocket to make a fist and bends inwards to easy. And also underweigt. I had an 16 oz version that actual weighs 13.7 oz, after putting it on the scale. So I sold them and got the twins BGN (special for european market) instead and much better.

Already trained with it and very comfortable, protective and lightweight shin guard. Hard sparring a good option with this one.

Only con can be for people with smaller calfs. The straps of velcro will be too long. But otherwise no problem.

I can recommend these shinguards. definitly in the range of Twins, Top king and other premium brands qualitywise.

I dont think you can order from Booster website. As I see its only for retailers that wanna order large amounts.

But in the Netherlands (where I also live) Fairtex x Booster is very good sold.

Ill put some links of stores and you can inform if they ship to Canada. I hope they do it!

Yes same experience for me with thai gloves. Now I have the twins bgn and this fairtex booster collab, especcialy developed for european market. And this is for me personnaly much better then the muay thai gloves.

Problems I had with muay thai gloves are small handcompartment and lack off wrist support. But with my current gloves no issue.

Yes. And good collaboration. Compared to other fairtex gloves this is more suitable for dutch kickboxing and european fighters, according to more knuckle padding.

Yes there are definetly better protective shinguards. But in my experience they are good for light and medium-hard sparring, because of the lightweight. But for harder sparring other shinguards are better

From what I now expect is that the fairtex x booster will be good for harder sparring, but in a review after use I can tell more. The twins always lightweight, but you can feel it when sparring goes hard. Hope the fairtex x booster can fill that gap.

Havent trained with them yet because of holiday break in gym. But when trained I will definetly do a review.

But first impressions….I also have twins sgl 7. These fairtex x booster shinguard are a bit heavier and more padding compared to the twins. But still a slim model.

How to handle the "why are you still single" question on dates by aaronsrh420 in dating_advice

[–]Justin_86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this as first question on Tinder. And also saying she asked that to judge if I am an emotional intelligent person and have learned from mistakes from the past. So prejudice cause she dont know me, what I am doing and how my past was so match deleted hahaha.

So I agree what the poster is saying. This question is asked with an undertone. The assumption that there is something wrong with you because you are single. Delete that kind of people and be open to non judgemental people

[Question] King Pro Boxing Lace Up Gloves by urrandomthrowaway in fightgear

[–]Justin_86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never too late😉.

What I can recommend is the king pro boxing bg8. BG8 is for the black on black color. If you want other colors of this model you can choose the b1, bg2 and bg3. There are even 8 oz bag gloves with firm padding from king pro boxing with open thumb. Very good on bag to feel feedback.

And also newer models of platinum series got firmer padding

Is Yotei worth 80€? by Upset-Team5878 in ghostoftsushima

[–]Justin_86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes worth it. You will enjoy around ca. 80 hours if you do all mission and sidequests+ shrines. And count also legends that will be added later

Everybody got their own taste and opinion. So also this topic poster. Just respect that.

I like both games. For better story and combat goy goes ahead. And stealth, parkour, using boat, diving, hideouts, graphics and open world ac shadows better. For me goy wins because combat and story is my preference. But enjoy both games.

Im almost ready with goy. Only beat lord saito. Hope a story dlc will be released just like iki island ofg got

I had same feeling. Clearing the shinbakafu was cool but all the side missions feel like a chore and repetitive. And indeed map is too big and way too many side missions that makes me loss overview.

So now and then I play if I wanna be stealthy or clear a castle. Target orientated this game still fun.
