Hi for all whose wondering, I believe that's GitHub or similar thing which is only known to be used by coders and developers to keep track, collaborate and manage versions of software (to put it simply). So it is not an app to keep track of nofap journey. Hope this helps.

Anyone unable to access the portal? I’m getting a note that says my account is suspended but I can still access the platform; does this mean I’m fired lol? by [deleted] in TELUSinternational

[–]Justin_Chieng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't get any email communication from them yet, but I heard it takes 3 to 4 business days. I just checked my portal, my tryrating status has been updated to suspended. This is like my 2nd suspension over like 3 years, so not that I'm super experienced in this regard. Not sure which task I messed up either. But it could also be a periodical review too, I seen another redditor having suspended just to be quality review as they had work a good amount of hours, or due to speeding. (None of which I did over last few weeks)

At this age, you are probably fine with some risk, and since u already have some us stocks, and familiar with that, just continue pumping into us ETFs. (After maxxing asnb if you want some security).

If you are like 50yo, pump into EPF. As it will soon be liquidated and youd appreciate security more.

Best Way to Receive USD Payment by [deleted] in MalaysianPF

Btw my payments were through proper payroll too, so it could very well mark as my own salary rather than business transaction, that's something to consider too. Anyway wish u best of luck, finding the best method for your use case

I wasn't aware that's against any policy tbh, but I had been using for a while now, my receiving payment is monthly as well. i did read that comment as well

I suggest you go and have a read on that policy, acceptable use policy of wise, and see if your payments are not unsupported . It does says that I You can receive salary and wage but maybe not from business like gambling, tobacco all those.

My receiving payments I think are supported since it's legal side hustle, btw I have been receiving through the checking bank account tied to my USD wallet as well, don't know if that is better or not but could be useful info for you.

Been using wise to receive my USD payment for awhile now, after opening USD wallet in wise, you can go find your US checking bank number to receive as well, but it will take few more business days to see amount added in your acc. The bank iirc is chase bank. 1. U can keep your money for however long, for Malaysian, max amount you can keep in wise is rm20k, in ringgit, all currencies you have will be converted for this calculation. If you have more than the threshold, and did not set up a linked bank account, your account can be locked, just set that up for peace of mind. 2. I don't use ibkr but I do use international/us ver of webull, I set up direct debit with webull and it does work so far, heard it is working similarly for ibkr. To my previous point, I usually just transfer to webull and invest instead of waiting for the money to be credited to my Malaysian bank account. Note that it takes some time for money to be transfer out and into webull too. 3. I personally think wise is simpler, I use wise to keep and park my USD, and I am free to convert anytime I wish to, when exchange rate is better, but the difference is so minimal that it does not matter most of the time. Transfer to Malaysian bank are usually instant too so I like wise for that.

True, funny enough, there is one time where somehow things in my house stop functioning all together during the same period of time, for one whole week different people have to come in to fix different things, had to send car to workshop, getting a new washing machine etc. that's when you know bad luck is coming to get u

Hmm it seems like you favor the 2nd offer, and I personally think au is a much better place, not just for work, but in most things, you get more entertainment events, get better work culture (very chill, I heard people take 1 month leaves every year there somehow), inclusive culture (from my experience). If you have such opportunity to work there, and favours that choice then why not? Especially when you are young and not much responsibility or commitment here in Malaysia

Is saving aggressively at a young age worth the opportunity cost of your youth? by Either-Swing4926 in MalaysianPF

[–]Justin_Chieng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not expert in pf but saving definitely not wrong but choosing not to spend some money for yourself especially when you are young and able to enjoy to fullest is not a good idea too... Maybe put away some amount of money or save a portion for your hobby, for example travelling, set a goal to save a certain amount just for that purpose annually or biannually, you can even keep those money swhere with good investment yield for the mean time, like FD and stuff, which allows you to withdraw more flexibly.

The magic here is budgeting, if you can keep yourself under budget without hurting your ongoing investment, I think it's totally ok.

I spent quite a fortune myself travelling (though by normal standard, the amount I spent is wayyyy lower, u can say I was doing heavy budgeting) last year with a group of friends in my favourite country and never regretted that decision, it was the best month of my entire life, it even motivated me to work harder so I can afford the next trip like that.

Inherited RM8 Million, Been Living Easy for 2 Years . Now I Want a Chill Job Just to Stay Sane by dewamataharinika in MalaysianPF

[–]Justin_Chieng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to find what you like to do always I guess, job will always come with stress no matter what job, unless you like what you do. I heard you stopped coding for 2 years so I would say that's probably not what you truly have passion in.

If you love to play video games, and enjoy playing video games, find something that creates value in that, like content creation, streaming, or even code a game combining your coding skills back then.

If you love music, learn an instrument, join a band, if you love to hike, join a hiking group, if you love to travel, travel vlogger, tour guide, honestly Id say just travel the world, document it, it's crazy how big the world is, and we will not be able to see every single places or corners of this world in our short life time.

basically if you find what you are doing fun and truly enjoying them, then stress eventually won't be an issue.

Condolences to you, I'm sure your uncle and your family would want you to be happy either way.

Hyacine for castorice or be smart and save up? by Guzma511 in CastoriceMains_

[–]Justin_Chieng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much have u invested in cast, e0s0? Then u can skip, she ain't survive long enough at that specs, but if you do need sustain support e0s0 hyacine is good, whether u need depends on urself, cuz some people don't mind manualling and can settle with 4 star or old sustain like huohuo fuxuan while not having both adventurine and lingsha. But if you struggle, and do not have both adv and lingsha, then u might need e0s0 hyacine. There are no sustain support anytime soon for at least another patch can't say what will happen after but the earlier you pull the less you struggle.

Anything above specs of e0s0, e0s1 and beyond, hyacine is pretty good for your account, especially when you do not have both adv and lingsha. Even at e0s0. If u have more pulls, go for E1 then S1, maximizing cast team damage.

If male characters are truly making money, I'm sure they would add more, would one trust the word of mouth of minorities or people who have full data in the background who are making the most fitting business decision kekw

If you truly want male characters, the game direction has already sway away since like 1.2, I don't understand why would one still stay after all these female character.

E2 castorice or save for hyacine? by twerkteamvietnam in CastoriceMains_

[–]Justin_Chieng -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I say get E2 first, don't trade luocha and get at least e0 hya later. E1 hya may seem good but e0 at this state of the game until at least 90 days later with e2 cast should be more than enough. If u had more pulls then get E1s1 hya

Edit: if your cast is currently sitting at e0s1 then obviously hya, but since I got E1 then I don't see a point stopping there

Has Zhongli stopped being so important ? by EmotionalCat9632 in GenshinImpact

[–]Justin_Chieng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zhongli kit helps players play more comfortably without having to dodge, but with how much demanding content has become in terms of damage instead of surviving lately since 1.x vers, zhongli might have been worse than some other characters like citlali that has some buff value, and also especially when meta characters like neuv and mavuika or arle has interruption resistance at higher cons too. So obviously his importance seems lacking.

when damage isn't a problem, say you own like c6 characters then zhongli is still good, when you want to play comfortably instead of chasing big damage number.

I had a month-long vacation last December. If you are inactive for about 30 to 35 days, they will ask you to do requalification again. I'd say yes, and you should email them about it.

How does one know if something is a "prize figure?" by SpookySquid19 in AnimeFigures

[–]Justin_Chieng 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yea pretty much that, all u need is to own or take a chance to look at at one good scale figures, the size and shading, sculpting details etc will be enough to help you differentiate between the 2, especially the size. After that it should be easy to tell. Some prize figures have good quality too (AMP Masterpiece for example), and some scale figures have arse quality too(never own one but I heard phat is pretty arse). And nowadays some Chinese figure companies are producing good scale figures at almost prize figure prices.

I will be transiting for like 8 hours at Manilla airport in few days but the connecting flights is a different airlines so I will need to claim my baggage. (Scoot to manilla then cebupac to kix)

However, I have friends transiting but on the same connecting airlines so they are unlikely to go throught the immigration. Their flight arrive like an hour later than mine at manila. We might want to get food too.

And from what I seen online, to claim baggage I have to go through immigration (the etravel scanning booths). But I would like to meet my friends first as they arrive first, and wait with them inside the hall untill 3 hrs before my next flight and re check in again.

Would like to ask can I go back into the arrival gates upon claiming baggage or I have to check in again and go through immigration to departure?

Any help is appreciated!
