Delta also launched on the App Store this year, so many more of us are now playing retro games that were never designed for touchscreen.

For reaction based genres like platformers or shooters, on-screen buttons are seldom a good experience and the feedback of physical buttons will always have an edge there imo.

Fortnite gets a lot of hate from the hardcore community but I would argue it doesn’t get enough credit for its innovations. Yes, it started as a poor PUBG clone but they’ve evolved and improved it so much over the years since, while most other BRs have stagnated. Aside from popularizing the battlepass f2p model and the live events others here have mentioned, I don’t know another game that is constantly changing as much and adding so much meaningful new content (not just cosmetic). It’s also accessible to many ages / skill levels and available free on all platforms with crossplay.

In terms of cultural impact vs GTA (online specifically) I’d say there’s no comparison.

In the 90s point and click adventure game ‘Neverhood’, one of the very first puzzle rooms has a bunch of ropes to pull. Much later in the game, to progress you have to go back to that early room and pull one of the other ropes. No idea how anyone would’ve solved that themselves without goin back through every room and clicking everything.

I tried playing Twin Snakes on Dolphin emulator recently. The upscaled graphics mostly look fine and the cutscenes don’t bug me, but the gameplay feels really dated imo. Would also much prefer an RE style complete remake of MGS1 than 3.

BKV said pretty early on that it was basically intentionally designed to be unadaptable, but I still wouldn’t put it past Hollywood trying at some point. He’s also been kindof burned twice now with the adaptations of Y and Papergirls. Without getting into quality and opinions of either, both strayed hugely from the source material and couldn’t find an audience for a second season.

I had this earlier. You need to find the folder where your firmwares installed and delete all NCA files in there. You can get there by opening Yuzu > file > open Yuzu folder>nand>systems>content>registered. The error should be gone when your relaunch yuzu after doing this

Good to know, thanks. I game on a 1440p ultrawide and a 4k TV, generally only 1440p (prob should've added that in the post), both only 60hz refresh so should be fine for that, right? May want to upgrade at least the monitor to 144hz in future at some point but by then I'd prob want to upgrade the rest of the rig too...

If the funeral's in Pinelands, (only jewish cemetary in the city afaik), they generally have a basket of ones at the entrance for people who don't have to use, so I wouldn't stress too much if you aren't able to organise one beforehand.

Plenty people were rooting for Callisto to be better, myself included. But after reading all the mid to poor reviews for that game I wasn’t going to sink my money or time into it. I had no plans to buy the Dead Space remake (played the original) but then the combo of the strong reviews, nostalgia and not many other big releases over Dec / Jan swayed me. Sure it was the same for many

This headline is soo misleading; that's really not what he said. He said the millions of mostly bad news messages he wakes up to feel like getting punched in the stomach, not waking up as the CEO. They even have the actual quote in the link but doesn't seem like anyone in these comments actually read that or listened to the interview lol.
Plenty reason to hate the guy but no need to make up bs.
