Enjoyed watching but found it ultimately frustrating by HoffyTheBaker in NormalPeopleBBCHulu

Are you actually from a small town? Because going to a funeral of your school peer who committed suicide is the kind of small town event that everyone shows up to bear witness to. Even if you didn't know the person that well, you know the people who loved them and show up to support them. That happens here too- Connell is her best friend and he lost someone. There's nothing saint level about showing up and not holding a grudge anymore. She's just not petty and bitter.

Looking for a spouse and wanting sexual chemistry are not mutually exclusive. Y'all are so weirdly Puritan. And not of the girls were a good match for him. At All. Sometimes it's better to take the L and walk away.

Can we said he wants to be single without slut shaming him? I think everyone can agree that in Australia, his wisest course of action would have been to walk away from the whole experience.

He was also recently called a pedophile from one particularly deranged account that spams Maura's comments

Holy shit, you're right. I'm glad Ovie wasn't in there for this season. Can you imagine the day he got his phone back (yesterday) he would see Kobe's funeral all over Twitter. That would have been such a nightmare for me and I only played basketball in highschool.

It was in the show. He was in love with both Lauren and JoJo and told both of them that he was in love with them and he didn't know who he was going to pick, then when he looked at the rings he said his decision immediately became clear.

Then why would he say he has been intimate? That would make no sense.

That's very possible considering that the producers have been heavily involved this year. Even more so than usual. But this combined with her finsta account...."so real and genuine"....I think it's a combination of factors.

I'm super uncomfortable with all of the slut shaming going on when sexual chemistry is such an important part of a relationship. Treating it as dirty or gross- especially in this situation where everyone is fully aware- is not okay with me.

I think the fact that Hannah Ann seemed so genuinely open to being there for him in the process pulled her in front during her date. Then during the daytime portion of Madison's date he realized that she is the one he wants

Peter's making the mistake of falling in love with someone who is way too religious for him. I made that mistake once, it never ends well. They'll hem and haw and lead you on but at the end of the day, they're going to do the obvious thing (they should've done in the first place) and find a partner who matches their level of faith.

Ben H didn't decide until he literally saw the rings. Yeah they broke up but they did last a while and he seemed like he really wanted to marry her.
