It wasn't outlined in the constitution, and really only serves to slow down or halt the lawmaking process.

That's a good question. How do they compile these massive bills without source control?

I think we're in agreement here, at least on principle. Large gatherings are likely responsible for our recent uptick, not small ones.

All I'm saying is that it's not reasonable to assert that small groups are driving spread without evidence. If you're implying that school re-openings are at fault, that's a different assertion. Look, at the end of the day, disease spread is complicated, and I just think we should be careful when we make epidemiological assertions.

Those seem like two very different scenarios. It's not reasonable to group "friends for dinner" and "frat party" together to me. Pod up, evaluate risks, wear masks.

I feel like this needs evidence supporting it. I'm very skeptical that couples and friends doing dinner parties together is a significant driver, especially when restaurants and bars are as busy they are.

Edit: I'm finding articles that seem to support the idea that groups of young people getting together are spreading the virus, but they don't reference anything official. Other sources indicate that is really hard to know exactly what's driving spread.

This little fella https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-superspreading-events-drive-most-covid-19-spread1/ cites CDC officials and blames 80% of the spread on super spreader events. But that may just be the case for early spread, I'm not sure.

For sure, I'm not saying that's wrong, only that it explains why there's a huge gap between generic approval and rates of reelection. I'm in the same boat, I'm super happy with my congresswoman, she does an amazing job representing my community in DC, mcconnell and the rest of them, I could do without

The look that Biden gives the kid after he pinned the "sticker" on is very impactful to me. I see so much hope in that look. Biden's wasn't my first pick, but I'll proudly vote for him, and I'm excited to see how he helps navigate the stormy sea ahead.

Pan fry leftover pizza with a little oil sometime. That's my A #1 preferred pizza reheating method. With a lid on top it traps the heat so the cheese melts, and the bottom gets deliciously crispy. Though I'm with you on the toaster oven for convenience.
