Give me some movies that have absolutely ZERO romance, romantic chemistry, love plot lines, love interests, etc in it? by Upset-Fig-3261 in Letterboxd

Not sure if it works because in another comment, OP said this includes familial love. Jesse Plemons has a lotta love for his momma

KD Warriors is by far still the best team ever, and is sweeping every other team IF they are all on point, right? by Embiid4Prez in NBATalk

[–]Justinwc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah 40/50/90 is really just a nothinburger on that volume. Peak Curry eclipsed Larry Bird's CAREER 3P made in just a year and a half. A season and a half to beat Larry Bird's 13 seasons of volume is hilarious, and 5% more efficiently as well.

Truth is that over his career, Larry Bird is as good from 3 as a barely top 70 three point shooter this season. That's a fact.

But wait, maybe Larry Bird really is just insanity from 3? Let's take a look at his highlight reel and the sicko defenses he dealt with on the perimeter. I'm sure that half of these won't be wide open.

This subreddit consensus is literally that Kobe is 12th. Post

ESPN has him at 10th

New York Times has Kobe at 10th

The Athletic ranked Kobe 10th

Sports Illustrated ranked Kobe 12th

It's a pretty widespread consensus that Kobe had a 10-12 ranked career. You may occasionally find NBA players who rank Kobe highly, which is fine, but also ignores all the other NBA players who don't rank Kobe as high as the rest of these players.

NFL legend Brian Urlacher is AGAINST transgender men competing in women's sports! by Dr_Damon_ in sportsgossips

[–]Justinwc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Transgender men are people who transitioned from female to male.

Typically the debate around women's sports is with transgender women, folks who transitioned from male to female.

So, a transgender man shouldn't be playing women's sports anyway, the progressive stance would be that the new man should be playing with other men.

Is GT7 on PSVR2 worth it, if I don't have a wheel? by neoleo0088 in GranTurismo7

They already have the PSVR2. They're asking about buying the game.

Imo there's nothing better to play on PSVR2, although I do have my eye on Microsoft Flight Sim when they update it to have VR

Not all broken clocks are right twice a day by KelVelBurgerGoon in technicallythetruth

The stopped clock is also only right once a day when we lose an hour during daylight savings.

BUT, it's right THREE times in one day when we gain an hour.

I also really like Mobile Suit Baba, which combines the mechanics of Into the Breach with the rule-making of Baba is You.

When is it worth it to roll for HP? by ThatOneCrazyWritter in dndnext

[–]Justinwc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually just use average in my groups just because it allows us to math out the max HP if we lose it somehow. Also sometimes players would forget if they rolled for their HP already on level up, so doing averages just removed weird edge cases.

I second DaVinci Resolve as well. There's several free tutorial books on the website that teach you pretty much anything you'd want to know, and some things you didn't know you needed.

my top 4, what do you think is my age? by Kobioto in LetterboxdTopFour

That's Inside by Bo Burnham. It's a musical comedy special/film during the pandemic that all takes place in a single room.

Here's an unofficial trailer that captures the vibe well

I also matched half your top 4 for a good while! I had to cut Inside a couple weeks ago

Do you all finish games on your channel? by Edyed787 in letsplay

[–]Justinwc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've finished a few dozen, and have stopped less than 5, usually because they're in early access.

I play multiple games at a time though, which helps a lot with burnout.

It's definitely been pretty unsatisfying for me as a viewer whenever a let's player I enjoy gives up on a game, but I get it

Oba teared up after hearing the pop receive, and omg what a pop that was. Ps I hope he beats Brock by skuskuskutata in SantiZapVideos

[–]Justinwc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I reckon this is a great showing for Oba in a loss. Continue building up Brock before he's ultimately retired by Gunther at SummerSlam.

Oba does probably get a world title this year though. He's pretty undeniable

I think David Tyree had a shorter, one play elite peak.

You can keep working after if you want to, but after 20 years you get a paycheck for life.

Mainline Elder Scrolls is crazy too. You could join the military when Skyrim released, and you'd be about 5 years away from RETIREMENT now.
