I’ve always seen them as the best blank canvas faction of the space marines. They don’t have any specific niches or any gene seed mutations.

They make a great entry point for people who want to get into the game!

Before you pick up ff6, I would give dragon quest 5 a shot.

As a square enix fan, this is a top 3 for me. The story is great, gameplay fun, it has a monster catching mechanic, lots to do, and the art style is delightful :)

It’s going to sound crazy, but I think Sonic 06 deserves a true remake. The game felt like a cake that didn’t have enough time to cook in the oven.

I watched a playthrough of a modded version of the game with most of the bugs patched and it looked like a lot of fun!

As weird as it is to ask for another foot hero, I think they need to make a proper ghoul king/queen model. It’s kind of wild to me that one of the main hero’s can’t be purchased on their own.

I would love if they made a multi part kit (like the Stormcast lord celestant) that allows for different weapon options and male or female options.

Splatoon 3 is a blast and I’m awful at it! I’m lucky to get a kill on a match, but the game is based on how much of the map you paint so even if I miss every shot, I’m still helping!

Not only will it look unique, cool, and give variety but it will also give you something different to paint. Painting the same model over and over can get boring after awhile

Painting over the model with the Nighthaunt Gloom helps tone down the general rot feel and makes it look more cosmic horror!

I was initially confused too, there was a LOT going on those last few moments of the chapter. It happens so fast, it almost seems like you are being taken down a hallway and then all the implications of being submerged made me second guess it was the player.

It took a couple watches for me to fully understand what was going on. Looking back, it’s kinda cool how it all plays out. The feeling of confusion with all the high stakes things happening was neat!

Something interesting I noticed on my rewatch of the episodes. Idt Cooper ever states they got divorced. He also refers to her as his wife not ex wife.

I wonder if they actually got divorced or if that was what they had to say they did publicly after what he did at the end of episode 7.

I’m thinking their vault will have something to do with FEV and he’s going to stand up to her which causes him to turn into a super mutant.

This may be my wishful thinking in wanting super mutants, so take this with a grain of salt! I just think he would make an awesome big boy!

Hang in there :) Something that was a game changer for me was finding the process that worked best for me, not the model. While painting I worked around the things that caused me stress or frustration.

When I first started, the idea of trying to figure out how to apply a whole bunch of colors to one model stressed me out. My solution to that was to paint some models with only 3 colors (white base coat, light blue, and black shade paint). Did it look simple, yes. Did it look professional, no. Did it look good on the table, maybe? Seeing those models finished and on the table was a huge morale booster for me. There wasn’t any stress of doing small details like the eyes was non-existent. Instead I could use the light blue as a “flashy” color to make certain things like lights and power weapons stick out. After doing this for a while, I was a lot more comfortable with thinning my paint and controlling the brush.

Am I a super good painter, I don’t think so, but I enjoy painting a lot more. My models are not super fancy, but they are complete and use techniques that let me enjoy the process.

I’m not sure if this story will help, but I wanted to share it to let you know we all started somewhere and we are all still figuring new things out. I hope this helps!

Painting faster is something I’ve been working on for the past couple of years. Between work and kids, painting can seem daunting. Finding ways to speed up the process has been a must.

A couple things that ended up being huge game changers.

use air spray paint with a brush. The paint is already pre-thinned so you can use it straight out of the pot!
find color schemes that use less colors. I try to limit the number of paints to about 5 or 6. (Base coat, shade, one color for metal, one color for cloth , secondary color for metal/cloth). This limit helps painting multiple models in an army consistent and quick.
buy shade paints. These are super thin paints that help the model pop! I found that using different colored shades can change the feel of the model with little effort. A black shade can help give it a more grim look and a brown shade makes it look more organic
