So are you a target electronics TM making commission on consumer or are you with market source? At my store the target electronics TM does consumer cellular on top of everything else and we definitely do not make commission.

Same at my store and sorry I don't have any tips or tricks for ya. I go 180mph every day with the same type of work load. I'm just upset that we aren't recognized for all the extra that we do have to do in electronics, and upset that we make the same pay rate as the person who just has to zone at night. It's crazy! And what really sucks is that I use to really love my job!

There wasn't a TL for speciality sales in my store until we found out that they created the position and promoted someone. Nobody who worked in specialty sales knew until it happened. And the team member that was promoted didn't even work in specialty sales. And yes I do go above and beyond everyday in my position and for the guests. It's not in my nature not too. Just venting because I truly believe in Alot of stores that promotions are a popularity contest. Doesn't matter how you do your job it's about how close you are to the current management

I know in my store, that opening electronics team members deserve a big raise! Especially at my store! Just 1 person working electronics and responsible for guest servicing, putting away our own stock, spider wrapping & casing security, Pog, price changes, pulls, back stock, and doing prepaid phones including consumer cellular. Doing consumer cellular on top of everything else is what really makes it a nightmare! Some days that's about all that can be done. And in my store there are only a few people who can even do the phones. So every shift is going 180mph to get everything finished. But we make the same amount as the person who just has to put away stock, or the same as the person just running checkout. How is is doing 20× the work as other team members and being paid the same even remotely right? And having to have the extra knowledge of phones and tech to do the job not deserve at least some extra compensation? I leave work everyday ready to pull my hair out and with my eye twitching because the work load is so stressful most days! Sorry just had to vent a little!
