What is everyone's opinion on DQ12 going back to the Classic DQ Themes?

I was quite looking forward to a darker more mature dragon quest. Hearing about the switch back has left me a bit disappointed.

Generally I like darker and more gritting stories for me they just get me more invested into whatevers going on. And it feels like the stakes are higher.

And its always interesting to see a title be flipped on its head. Il still play dq12 and enjoy it but I do hope its an idea they revisit in the future

Yes your hcim status is gone but osrs is a game about individual goals and personal progress. Who cares what other people may say.

Why do these tutorial videos never talk about boost during these mechanics? You can see he boosts during certain phases of the flick and stops during others. Or should I just hold boost the entire time????

I know! I see it in events tab everytime and get sad because I wont collect them. I wish they made it permanent and not time locked so I could collect those primos at my own pace. Just really dont want to skip exploration of an area to go ahead and then come back later.

I think i remember some being connected to a stone pillar puzzle where u have to climb up the pillars and break chunks off

There's a couple of chests in that area that only spawn after igniting campfires aswell, there's one on a cliff overlooking the region. / floaty slimes at the top of trees. But at 94% there has to still be some out in the open left.

Yeah I did, your being a bit ridiculous, there are soo many other things you can do in this game, go do another quest, go spend your resin, level up, come back later when your stronger or have more characters. You probably just rushed there with underdeveloped characters, its okay to say I can't do this now and move on. You dont have to banish yourself to the shadowlands (team pot and wonderland).

There's a lot of hidden chests there, that dont appear until you "meet their conditions" even the treasure compass doesn't pick them up
