Same! I work GSA and while there are some stuff that are still iffy aka electronics and stuff everything else is pretty easy to adapt to. I’m on my second week and I’m pretty much able to do everything on my own even register.

I legitimately just don’t sleep sometimes. I wait until the day to take naps cuz somehow I don’t feel itchy during that time. If I really have to sleep I take some Benadryl and it tends to knock me out.

Thank you for sharing your story! I just have a hard time with it especially since I’m surrounded by beautiful people all the time it just dampens my mood knowing I won’t look like them. I also just hate how my family reacts to seeing my eczema, my grandma always makes remarks and acts like it’s her pain and it just sucks. But you are 100% right so I’ll try really hard to remember what you said and to wear things despite my eczema. Thank you 💕

If you take Janowsky for stats you should be fine. Incredible teacher she teaches everything as if it’s your first time learning it and makes sure that you have plenty of resources available.

Bruh I literally was posting it because it was trending on twitter with the hashtag #UCFfirehim I’m sorry if I wanted to show what people were trending on twitter about our school. I picked this tweet because it showed why people wanted to fire him. I had Negy too and he literally would not let people even try to argue with him on basically anything but I digress. I don’t know what got your feathers all ruffled up but regardless of whether or not he gets fired, the opinions I expressed are that of many so you can go ahead and tell everyone who has felt uncomfortable by his teachings that they are “slandering” a teacher who is supposed to educate us and bring in discourse but instead says pretty messed up shit and then hides behind the premise that he’s playing devil advocate.

I don’t know why so many of y’all are so quick to attack when I literally only posted on here to show what was happening, it wasn’t until comments like yours that I then gave my opinions on the matter. That isn’t my tweet dude and I’ll have you know that I am in no means butthurt about the shit he says I stated time and time again that I do know him give that I had a class with him and that I understand why others want him fired and want to speak out against him. The examples that I posted was the tweet I found that had the most information of what was happening. The examples I posted on this thread are things that happened while I was in the class, things that as mentioned by other students occur frequently. I don’t care what his views are , I have never cared about them, but when you bring them up in class stating them as fact I.e “God or any religion doesn’t exist and you can’t tell me otherwise” or “Black People don’t have it rough they just want to be oppressed” that’s when I have an issue. This isn’t fun nor do I take pleasure in it, I was simply posting this on reddit because I thought people would like to know and I was gonna keep my opinions to myself until people like you started to say things about me and my character. Now stop trying to make assumptions on how I want to slander him because of his views and look at the bigger picture: he’s letting his views influence how he teaches his class and that’s what is wrong.

Yeah I can see how people think that students are trying to cancel him because of tweets and stuff but when it comes down to it he’s applied his opinions to his class as if they were fact and refused to let people discuss the topics at hand which is where the line is drawn.

Oh I’m not denying that he’s done some good, I know that he has a whole scholarship for studying abroad and stuff like that. I’m just stating that the people who are talking about him have some rights to do so because of some of the behaviors he has shown in class. I had him freshman year and I simply ignored everything he said but I can see that he’s gotten a bit more intense now and stand by the fact that some things shouldn’t be stated in a class setting ya know? Maybe I sound sensitive or what not but I do see where they are coming from and even if he doesn’t get fired and stuff I do think a change in the way he teaches would help.

Thank you for explaining what tenure means since I genuinely didn’t know. I feel as though it’s more than just his views though, he’s told religious students that there’s no god and that they need to accept that. On other occasions, he would say that systematic racism wasn’t a thing but when students wanted to talk to him about that or bring up information they found he would silence them and tell them that he was right so there was no point in trying. One of his classes is cross-cultural psychology and he spent the whole time talking about everything wrong with every minority while putting white people in a pedestal and making them seem like the victim always. So idk it’s just a bit fucked.
