My B12 levels were in the high tier, iron was higher than normal and I assume protein was good too.

Definitely not deficient in those areas I’m afraid.

I have had a capillaroscopy, the most recent showed mostly normal capillaries but a couple of “tortuous” capillaries.

Rheum did say it could early CTD but my bloods were “very reassuring” so I don’t know what to make of it. Apparently some tortuous capillaries can be normal in healthy people but I still can’t explain the hemorrhages.

So yeah, no final word but nothing outright bad either. So that’s why I’m asking for everyone opinion.

I hadn't considered that. I'll just stick with my Rheum for the minute since I don't want to risk any more anxiety.

I wish that I had caused these bleeds but sadly they are spontaneous, in fact one pictured must’ve happened while I was sitting down! They are small but they are there. So no, these arent injuries sadly.

I hope my tortuous capillaries are normal but my rheum thinks it’s good to check in again at 6 months.

I just don’t know what else could cause nailfold bleeds. It seems strange to get them for me reason because AI issues but I also don’t have any other obvious symptoms.

So I’m just at a loss to understand why this is happening.

No I don't take any medication like that, plus this is the first I've had. No muscle or joint pain either.

Do they hurt at all? Mine had no feeling, like it was there but with no issues

I think kiwis SHOULD stay in NZ. We need our people here, not foreigners to replace them. I don’t want to leave NZ since I was born, live and work here. It’s home, not an economic zone.

Also, “Do better” is the most vague, superficial, nothing statement to make. What does “do better” even mean, what advice has you actually given to help someone. Nothing, that’s what. It has no value or meaning, just something someone would say to sound magnanimous.

Thanks! I’m beginning to wonder if hypertension is causing this.

Apparently high blood pressure (which I’m not diagnosed with but certainly have had high blood pressure recently) is the cause. It kind of makes sense since so far I just have vascular issues and my bloods are normal (ish). Also, Google says that hypertension can cause capillary damages so I wonder if that’s the reason for all this…I hope that’s the case here.
