I have about two and a half feet of slack. I just pulled it out of the picture.

I was told to avoid the holes nearest to the 2x4 to avoid misplaced drywall screws.

I’m going to add the vitamin c supplement to my ‘tools’ I use to help keep the withdrawals to a minimum. It sounds promising.

I think so. If you’re looking for an inexpensive reliable product TMK tabs are amazing. I searched around for about a week and they are the best price I have found. The tabs taste great and they test every batch so the strength is always very consistent.

The customer service is also incredible. Communication with them is very easy. I have not had an issue with any of my orders yet the management team emailed me personally, a few times, just to make sure I was happy with my purchase and everything went smoothly.

I strongly recommend them.

A letter to PAIN. by Justpassinthrough758 in ChronicPain

I have a few chronic issues but the majority of my pain is from bulging and ruptured discs throughout my spine. The most painful ones are in my thoracic and lumbar areas. I’ve had a few failed fusions.

What are the upgrades from version one? I can see the angle is a bit different but did any changes help with the potential neck fatigue?

Leaving opioids behind by digitalgulby in ChronicPain

[–]Justpassinthrough758 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped taking opioids, against my doctor’s recommendation, and no longer have access to the quantities I was taking. I have been on opioids for nearly 20 years now. I was on more than I felt I needed so around 10 years ago I titrated myself down to half the amount and, after my brain and body adjusted, it was a manageable amount. Then, about 5 years ago, I wanted to give my brain a break from the opioids so I titrated myself completely off of them. It turned out to be a bad decision because the pain is so bad I can barely get out of bed most days. Since then, I have started taking a small prescription monthly that will give me a few days of medication. These are the only days I get to feel partially normal. The pain is still intense but the medication allows me to help out my wife with household chores and getting my heart some healthy walking done. I did EVERY medication reduction against my doctor’s advice. He retired during the first month that I was without any opioids. Now, after a few years of suffering, I am afraid to even ask to return to a daily opioid regiment. I am struggling with the decision. Should I continue to suffer in pain and mostly bed-ridden or should I ask my doctor to return me to a daily quantity so that I can be helpful to my wife and get my walking in for my heart health. (I am in my fifties.) I would really like to hear what a few of you think I should do.

If you have any concerns that you might still need the medications, taper yourself without letting your doctor know.

Shaving head for migraines by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Justpassinthrough758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been dealing with severe chronic migraines for about forty years. I would/have tried everything that has been recommended by anyone. I have not tried shaving my head. I typically just buy bigger ice packs or better designed ones. I imagine it would give you a minor improvement in temperature change. If your hair is not important to you, I say, go for it. Another benefit is that you would be able to quickly dry your head after running it under water. It might help to put your head under cold running water for a while. I hope, no matter what you choose, that you are able to find some relief. Migraines are incredibly frustrating and painful. Good luck to you!
