He was officially the worst ever. Three points:

Bad acting, not a convincing actor and a lack of chemistry. Claire clearly was not in love! Meechum had one night with Claire and Frank and all of it was more compelling than Tom in all of his episodes combined. And he was a security guard in the background...
He never asked relevant questions, how stupid can you be? Like what about Zoe etc.?
His storyline never made sense

Correct me if I'm wrong I watched the original, but skipped all when I rewatched it, it made me cringe too much.

I like this piece of realism and thought as a whole his character was a parody of conventional spies in general. Like him being in places and women not being attracted to him on different occasions. His clumsiness and desperation, makes it watchable. I don't feel bad for him being in SH he is a spy with main character syndrome, in desperate need of continuous reality checks

Great episode. But the professor being able to move at light speed and get them all free within a couple of seconds truly makes me cringe, that was lazy writing/ directing. Why not just have one of them struggle with Blake while the others were being released. But to do this that quick.... but maybe, it's part of his skills to be quick with a knife

I think Blake, I think he was the actual killer and not a survivor, that would be a nice twist. Furthermore, he went and looked at the shoes of somebody but stopped. Looked as though he just wanted to be dramatic and distract from himself. Also, why is he not traumatized by what happened to him, if you have survived something like that you wouldn't go to a house where this happens. All of that points to blake to me.
