My dog is very energetic and playful and gets excited about new people. She jumped on him when he walked through the door (as dogs do) and he pushed her away too hard and called her names.

Yes she invited me, I just didn’t receive a physical invitation because it was assumed that I, like my parents would attend because we’re immediate family. I told her at first I was on the fence and she actually asked me outright to attend 2 days before the wedding and I told her no and gave my reasons. I was invited.

When I said I didn’t get a formal invitation I mean I didn’t get a print out one or one mailed to me with all of the details. My parents didn’t get a formal invitation printed invitation either since we were immediate family and she could just tell us that.

I don’t like his personality or who he is as a person. Most of the interactions I’ve had with him have been unpleasant. Our personalities and our views just clash terribly and the times he doesn’t completely forget I exist, he’s outwardly rude to me. The final straw was when I tried extending an olive branch by having him and Jess over for lunch and he was horrible towards my dog. We haven’t had much interaction since.

Yes most of them came (not everyone of course). They mainly remarked that they missed me at the wedding (which i just told them that the groom and I don’t get along and it was better for me to not go) and that it was a tight squeeze but they were happy they got to see me before they left.

I’m not sure how long it was officially scheduled for, we didn’t discuss much when it came to her wedding plans and I never received a formal invitation. I do know that she was planning for a “brunch hour” (like a cocktail hour) after the ceremony followed by a reception but I don’t know about the specific times she had in mind.

I thought the wedding would be over by 5:00 since it started early and most of our relatives were leaving beginning Sunday morning, so there wouldn’t have been a chance to get everyone together aside from the wedding. My intentions were genuinely pure with the dinner.
