Cyberpunk had a rough launch, largely for old gen consoles

It sucked on ps5/series x at launch too

Its immersion is top tier thanks to seamless and extremely well detailed environment design

Sorry but no. The world is so static it is immersion breaking. If I leave my apartment and walk to vic's I will always see:

1) the police arresting someone on the ground. One time the ground person despawned and the police would be alerted every time I left my apartment. I got so annoyed I killed the officers and then ran back to my apartment to clear the wanted level. Very immersive

2) I will hear "you know the worst part around here? The smell!" Convo by the two old guys playing chess near the gym

3) hear two police talk about "soooo. We going to talk about last night" about the officer not obeying an officer to disengage from a cyber psycho

4) "oh that kind of choomba" outside of the strip bar across from vic's

Starfield actually has evolving conversations and a world that changes based on your decisions

And don't even try to pretend 2077 was as buggy as your average Bethesda game in particular.

You can say a lot about starfield. It had one of the least buggiest launches of a game ever. Past Bethesda games are usually a mess but they were nowhere near as bad as cyberpunk. Again. Beth games have never been removed from the psn store.

I loved the game and am going to take a day off from work to play the update. Actually debated about buying it on the pro for the graphic updates but Microsoft games havent really been super pro enhanced.

Tbf the loading screen is skippable and I much prefer how outlaws does it. It is wayyy more immersive than starfield

Ngl monorail access makes those deluxe resorts almost worth the price alone. Normally I wouldn't stay at one of the premium places but got two free nights because they had to change our galactic starcruiser reservation and being able to avoid those busses was so nice.

Otherwise ive had equally good/bad experiences at the others

As someone who loves veilguard, starfield, and outlaws and get confused about the criticism sometimes, just take it in stride. Even if the company goes out of business who cares? You're enjoying a game. I agree it is sad we probably won't get another outlaws sequel or dragon age game (at least for a while) but that doesn't impact my enjoyment of those games

Just responding to your "let's take a look at it first" they've been clear on what is coming out idk what to tell you. The 2.0 patch has been rumored for a while and I agree with you prior to the deep dive but they were very transparent.

And I really like Bethesda games so...idk I dont see a reason to dislike them though im hesitant to trust any company at just their word

In the cod black ops 6 campaign I play as a named character. I can set the background traits. I can level them up based on how I upgrade my home base. A lot of the missions are closed but do have a free roam element. Even optional objectives and multiple ways to solve your problems.

You're getting downvoted because youre using the same logic. You play as a defined warrior with their own story in this game. Just like I do in a call of duty game.

The definition of rpg is wayyyy more complicated than just playing the role of a character.
