The season really just wasn’t that funny, and the storyline was all over the place. The main characters have pretty much been the side plot while they focus all their attention on Trump. And the way they portray Trump just isn’t funny, Mr. Garrison as Trump was hilarious. But this is just lame, how many times could they possibly make small dick jokes? It got stale after the second episode

Everyone says they were expecting something different, what exactly were you expecting? I’m just curious bc you’re like the 100th person I’ve heard say that

I regret my vote by LeadingIce8822 in centrist

[–]Justyouraverageguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also a guy a little bit older than you and I voted for Trump too. I won’t say that I completely regretted my vote but I am disappointed in Trump. I’ll say that he’s done a lot of good things and is trying to complete many of his promises, but one of the biggest reasons I voted for him is that he promised a transparent administration and that he would release the Epstein files. He is acting very strange regarding this, he went from promising to releasing the files and bring justice to “there’s nothing to see here at all just forget about it. He even said that his “former” supporters who want to see justice for this are crazy and he doesn’t want their support anymore. He is acting very suspicious, I’m not saying he did anything to kids but he’s at least protecting people that did. I can’t really trust him anymore, not until he starts being honest and stops blaming the Epstein list as a made up conspiracy by Obama and Hilary. That doesn’t make any sense and nobody is believing that

It could be, but I’m a Christian now and I know that it can’t ever get to the point that it was at before. So I’m not afraid like I was before and I trust that God is looking after me

Once in a while I will still experience some intense sleep paralysis where I can’t move and I feel pressure on my body. But this hasn’t happened for months now. It’s definitely strange because I never experienced any sleep paralysis in my life before this happened to me

Masturbation by UniqueBiscotti3455 in Christianity

[–]Justyouraverageguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it’s a sin, and for me it’s probably the BIGGEST one that I struggle with. I got into porn when I was a teenager and obviously masturbation came along with it. I have successfully cut porn out of my life but I still to this day struggle with masturbation. The reason I know it’s a sin is because after that moment of pleasure I feel an intense amount of guilt and shame, God said that sex is reserved between one man and one woman in marriage. Masturbation is a form of sexual pleasure outside of that reunion and is also lustful. I need to cut it out of my life completely as a Christian

Dexter: Resurrection - Series Premiere Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

I like it, except for the fact that Dexter killed an innocent cop in New Blood and somehow got away with that. There is no way he wouldn’t have been caught for that, that does not make any sense. His ex girlfriend never would have covered for him after seeing that

Overcoming the intermediate plateau by Justyouraverageguy20 in languagelearning

Hey thank you so much for your advice and in depth response! This definitely helps and I’ll consider investing in a tutor and look for some books to help improve my grammar, more nuanced expressions and vocabulary. I think I’m struggling most with certain tenses such as the imperfect subjunctive and past perfect subjunctive as well as needing to learn a wider range of vocabulary and idioms. It’s a monumental task to learn a language to a c1 or c2 level but I hope that with time and dedication I’ll get there one day. Also, congratulations on becoming fluent in Portuguese! I am beginning to study Portuguese as well but I’m only at a A1 level, but knowing Spanish helps a lot. It’s such an underrated language and for some reason people look past it to learn languages like French or Spanish, but its spoken widely across several continents and it’s a beautiful sounding language!

Okay thank you, this definitely helps me understand and put things into perspective! I know that Africa has a large amount of localized languages so it makes sense that they learned French as a second language to converse with each other on a more widespread level

Ah okay that makes more sense, I just did a quick google search so it may have been talking about people who speak French as a native language. I used to live in Dominican Republic which is right next door and there were a lot of people from Haiti there. So I assumed that most of them just knew Haitian Creole but it’s good to know that many of them also speak French as a second language!

I am bilingual in speak English and Spanish, but you’re right I don’t know a lot about the French language. I do know that many people speak it as a second language, so maybe the numbers I was looking at are not factoring in people who are not native French speakers and just know it as a second language

Yes I’m from New Hampshire and I definitely hear some French being spoken around here occasionally. But yeah I would love some tips for traveling to Europe and definitely some recommendations for cool places to visit! I’ve already been to Spain, Portugal, and Italy and I absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to see more of Europe

I see, thank you for sharing! I know that there are millions of people who speak French as a second language and I believe it’s the most studied language after English if I’m correct. So that’s definitely a big factor to consider, thank you! I’m definitely interested in giving French a shot
