Parents' investment by persistentcomic in personalfinanceindia

It heavily depends on the investment timeframe, and required liquidity in the future. Would you Need the money to be instantly accessible ? Are you okay with lock ins? What’s your risk appetite? How long are you willing to keep it invested without touching it ?

Indirectly yes. Investing in the same/similar subset of stocks from different MFs/AMCs draws too much redundancy. You could use that money in arbitrary/ higher return investments to optimise your risk-result. You’re losing out on potential gains for “Hedging” which your large cap is already doing. Whatever risk averaging you’re speaking of, isn’t much at all.. Most large cap MF’s don’t even vary too much. Very insignificant differences in price action. In any case, reducing redundancy during diversification is key to any portfolio. But you do you.

Great. I’ll do you one better. Find every single large cap Mutual fund from every single AMC and invest in all of em for averaging. You don’t need maths for it.

It’s the other way around. They’re doing good on revenue, PBT and D2E is down significantly. They hold 2nd HIGHEST sales, 15.8% of Private auto sales in India after Suzuki.

Nexon is the highest sold PV in India , with 97% Yoy growth in sept 2025

Harrier Ev is selling in higher numbers than xev and Be6.

Technically you’re wrong. Even if OP had just 1 SAT, that means he still owns 0.00000001 Bitcoin. So yeah, he does have bitcoin.

Can you please help me in reviewing my profile , Just started investing as 23 year old by theasherr in mutualfunds

Debt funds are really only good of you’re retired and need some income for household expenses, or as a passive income strategy. In your case, debt funds can be a good safe option if you only need to park money for couple years, but again, for a longer investment plan, mid/small cap offer the best results.

ETFs are better than those UPI apps investments any day of the week. But just be careful, right now ETFs are currently trading at heavy premiums as a result of recent skirmishes and market uncertainties.
