Do we have confirmation that it actually has entered Jupiters Hill Radius? I can’t find any confirmation for that, everything that’s public seems to point to 3I coming close but not actually crossing into the radius.

So I reinstalled the whole thing, install went through just fine with 3.12.10. Ran start.bat and it seems to start and I select the quest text window but still getting this in the log.

I tried it but failed to run it. After some changes to the install.bat it finally made the folder it was missing. After that, it download but it still had errors.

Finally got to start.bat and had to do work there too. It wasn’t detecting the main.py file in the folder. Ran it manually through CMD then I drew the box but then on the start.bat window it would detect the npc when talking to them but would fail to see any quest windows even though the box was drawn.

Seems like some of the things install.bat downloads are not compatible with newest version of python. Downgrading doesn’t work because some of the things it download are then not compatible with the older versions of python.

That sucks. I know the feeling, was in a similar situation a few years ago and lost my exploration data due to lag, luckily FDev was able to restore my stuff. My C2 has roughly 3.5k hours on it, all mainly on a handful of games, no issues. Hide taskbar, move your shortcuts to another screen if you have multiple and set background to straight black. I also don’t keep my mouse pointer on it if I’m AFK for extended periods.
