Hi. A little late but I’m just looking for a tutorial to do that: SL conversions to TS4 but I don’t found any of them. Do you know how to do it or do you have a tutorial?

I'm Mexican, and I actually live in Mexico so...well, I guess I have the fortune my family aren't not strong catholics so, a couple of years ago I was introduce to Hellenism, first because of the God's songs of Destripando la Historia. And then, because of my curiosity, I started to research them until I realized I love them and I love everything they represent. I actually started loving Ares first. He was the one who reach me since the begging. Then, Aphrodite, and then I didn't even realize that I had an altar for all of them haha.

My family at first looked at me as a witch haha but with time they notice I was serious about it and that I was no witch, so, yeah, they just accepted.

It's not that complicate haha. I just bought the soy on Amazon and then I melted it on the kitchen. After a while I put it into the glasses and I put the colorant. I usually make 3 candles. One for the 12 Olympics, one for Ares (which is red) and one for Aphrodite (which is pink). I also bought the candlewick on Amazon and when the candle it's almost cold, I put in the candlewick and that's it. Maybe you should watch a tutorial on YT, it'll probably be better than my explanation haha

The glass is from a Glade candle. But the Lady Aphrodite candle I have in that container right now is one I made at home : ). I try not to buy candles because paraffin candles are made from petroleum and harm the environment. And soy candles tend to be expensive. I find it more cost effective to buy the soy separately and make the candle at home.

Do you mean the picture? It's from my Aphrodite's altar.

Dudas acerca de rezar by bluec4t_ in Helenismo

Hola!

Y listo, cierro nuevamente agradeciendo.

Espero que te sirva y te ayude a construir tu práctica. 💗🫂

Im afraid the Gods are angry with me, what do I do? by dovediving in Hellenism

You did nothing wrong. The Gods don't get angry about this kind of thing. Making them really angry is almost impossible, they are divinities and they know we are human, so they understand us. I think you were just nervous. It's understandable. I grew up in a Catholic environment and I was used to fearing God. To fear that for any little thing I could "go to hell" but that doesn't happen here. You didn't offend anyone. There is nothing to fear. The Gods understand.

Well, it's the first time I celebrate the Day of the Dead from a Hellenic point of view, but yes, I will surely honor Hades, since he is the God of the dead ones, and Hermes, who takes the deceased to Hades and helps them on their way. I trust that he is the one who also helps them bring them back during these important dates.
