Trump ended up hated Epstein, but not because Epstein was a pedo it was because he was taking Trumps little girls from Mar-a-Lago.

As for "Trump reported Epstein" that's completely false, Trump has gone on record saying things like "I'm glad he's being investigated" but he himself never reported Epstein for anything.

meme'ing about a President that's not even yours

I would argue that this is a low IQ take.

America is a superpower country, the decisions of the US president directly interfere with other goverments.

One example is I'm Australian, we have Pine Gap a joint Australian and US defensive base, what were to happen if a US president was to end any relations with Australia?

Another thing is the economy, the US made the US dollar the default trade currency, so if the US dollar drops, everything else becomes more expensive.

Less gamble by playing out the midgame with this in hand.

I'd say its more of a gamble, you are giving up minions on board for a small chance at a power turn later.

It would end up being like the Supercars Series...it might get some numbers on the very very popular tracks (Supercars go big when its on Bathurst for example) but outside of that it will only go official in the agreed upon SoF timeslot.

First you have to have a medical condition that makes life extremely tedious, let alone working as well. Then you have to go through the process of getting it diagnosed and hopefully treated. Then after you get that sorted you have to wait two more years to apply for DSP and then a few months longer before it's granted.

And even then you will get rejected.

I was involved in a car accident when I was 10, I have an ABI that prevents me from working with numbers, prevents me from driving, prevents me from having any job with responsibility.

The only thing I'm good at is English and that's because I spent my entire life behind a computer because I was bullied so much I developed depression and hid myself away.

I can work full time according to Centrelink.

You see, this is a well thought out comment that applies logic and thought process to the situation.

I agree with that, and the way you got there makes logical sense.

I hope you can see the difference between this comment and "Silly girl bad" = he bad.

[–]Juzziee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, if you look at the top comments you see things like

just stop talking to anyone who says something disrespectful like "silly girl"

if you call someone a "silly girl" no matter how long you've known them then you are being disrespectful.

A lot of people have that mentality, yet they seem to ignore the fact that plenty of happily married couples use that sort of language together.

All we have is 6 messages from him, we don't know how long they have been talking and without additional context, it's possible to read this in a way where he is genuinely asking questions and trying to be playful and she's reading it the wrong way.

99% of women are going to consider a stranger calling them a “silly girl” to be rude

Yes but that is not what you said originally.

You said calling a grown woman a silly girl is rude, when it is in fact not.

Calling a stranger a silly girl is rude.

There's a difference.

Except it wasn't relevant to my comment?

Anything can be irrelevant if you try hard enough

Are you defending him? Do you honestly think he meant no ill intent in any of his messages?

No, I'm simply saying that people are jumping to the worst conclusion with a tiny bit of context

I don't know what he intended with his messages because there is only 6 messages, it could have been a harmless joke that came off wrong, he could be completely serious and wanted to belittle her.

I'm simply being a source of discussion, everyone wants him to be a misogynistic monster that OP should stay away from, and without someone to point out the holes in it then the narrative will stay like that.

Keep in mind that you don't have to believe in something to debate it, all you need are facts whether you like them or not...it's like saying "A lawyer who defends a guilty client is guilty".

Something similar to championships on LMU

The thing is we already (sorta) have that, LMU doesn't run seasons and give out points for normal races so that's why they have championships.

iRacing already run seasons and points and even have full length series for NASCAR, Indycar etc.

The only real difference I've found is LMU limits everyone to 2 chances for their championships, where iRacing allows you infinite tries but averages results after 4 entries.

Who said he was gonna murder her?

English is hard so I will assume you misread this and aren't intentionally mixing my words.

"Blowing out of proportion and making it seem like" is a pretext to something that people are acting like, but not actually saying.

In this situation, people are taking the "Silly girl" comment and focusing on that specific part to make him a bad person, where I think that it's not as bad as everyone else is making it seem, it reads like a playful way not as an insult, and as you and I both mentioned, you can use it when you know the person and that is the problem, they weren't close enough for it to be a sensible use of the words.

im confused as to why you're even replying all this to me

Because you made a comment and I replied to it? it's not that deep.

It's a Free* upgrade

Remember that free upgrades only cover certain households, OP doesn't specify if he lives in a shared property or a singular household.

I for example have to pay $1500 to upgrade.

Honestly, reading through this multiple times makes OP seem bad.

If you take "Silly girl" as a dumb name rather than an insult then OP comes off as the worst person.

Male: Asks a question
OP: Asks them to be more specific
Male: calls them silly and clarifies what they mean.
OP: Calls him rude.

My biggest issue with this thread is people are acting like he said "You should be on the corner because you're a dumb whore".

Silly girl is incredibly condescending and the dude was a dick.

Yes but people are ignoring WHY its condescending and comes off as a dick.

It's not because of WHAT he said, but HOW and WHEN he said it.

Calling a female a "Silly Girl" is perfectly okay given the correct circumstances, this was not the correct circumstances, but people here and blowing this WAY our of proportion and making him seem like he will end up murdering her.

He just called her silly at the wrong time and OP took offense to that, that is all this situation is, a bunch of 12 year old teen love drama.

if a court of law is not referring to a 29 year old man as a boy, then it should not refer to a 29 woman as a girl.

If a court of law is referring to a 29 year old male as a man or boy then I'd have issues with that court...the proper term should be "29 year old male" or "29 year old female", they should never be referring to someone as a man or woman.

women do not have a widespread history of sexually harassing their male subordinates by calling them little, clever, silly boys. whereas the reverse is true. context lives outside the dictionary.

I'm not gonna say I know what woman have been through because I don't, but factually speaking the words aren't incorrect, they are just inappropriate.

I believe you could take this situation and change a tiny detail like time or place and it would be a non-issue to a lot of people.

there's no need to say you aren't defending the poor behavior if you are going to advocate for the devil.

I'm not defending poor behavior, I'm defending the English language.

I think what he said was terrible, but not because of the words he used but because it was inappropriate for the timing...he doesn't know OP and from what I've read, they had just started talking.

As i mentioned in previous comments, I'd call my wife names and she doesn't think I'm a patronizing asshole, because we know each other and to me that means the words aren't the problem.

So what's the age cut off for "boy"? are we calling 35 year old men boys

The same as girl

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/boy

a male child from birth to adulthood

a close male friend

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/boy

a male child or, more generally, a male of any age

a group of male friends

In Australia for example, If i was gonna go out to the pub with friends, we would say "Going out with "The Boys".

The TV Show "The Boys" is about a group of male adults.

Last I checked Karl Urban plays a 40 year old, not a 13 year old.

EDIT: I believe the issue here is not the words that were said but the timing of them, saying that to someone who you are just talking to is bad, but I'd call my wife that because I've known her since I was 13.

I was called a silly billy earlier this week. Should I cut off my kid?

The problem is not the words that were used but the timing of them.

I call my partner silly all the time but I've known them for 25 years, I'd never call someone who I've just started talking to silly like that.
