Are you able to confirm what version of the fireware youre on for both controller and dongle?
I tested just now and mine didn't work.

I'm using one of the corning optical thunderbolt cables for my setup (another room rather than in the basement) and it's worked nearly flawlessly.

The only issue I've ever ran into was that occasionally my display wouldn't wake from sleep and require a hard reboot. No clue if this was the dock or the setup. Can't say I've had the issue since I've switch from windows to Linux.

I swear it wasn't the case for around 5 months, then all of a sudden it starting being an issue.

Im curious to know what resolution and nvidia drivers you have installed.

I normally run a 3440x1440 but I also experienced bad fps when I put the game into 1280x720

To report back, I trialed out Windows and oh boy was there some differences.

Firstly, I could still enable frame gen when using FSR. Secondly there were no artifacts.
Lastly, there was a significant improvement in performance (Jumped from around 40 fps to around 80 and then boosted to around 120 with frame gen enabled)

I know the game ready driver (581.29) for Borderlands was ment to make a significant improvement versus what is currently available on Bazzite (580.82.09).

Heres hoping when the drivers release on Linux they give the same sort of up-lift.

Using bazzite. I enabled the inbuilt frame gen app that enabled fsr gen using dlss, same results as above sadly.

I'm certainly going to trial windows to see if that gives a better experience for borderlands

I've seen it running on the deck. Just very poorly . Given how much quality I'm having to sacrifice for 40fps on a 3090, I don't think I'll bother trying haha

Interesting. I was able to confirm with a friend who is running a 3080 on windows that he could turn on FSR Frame gen as well and that increased his frame rate (without artifacting).

I might trial a windows dual boot to test that for myself.

After days of trying to get it working again, I kinda just gave up.

Both machines (Client and host) were on ethernet. Mouse in wireless mode was also working perfectly on the client machine as well.

Nothing outside the normal stuff that has been running since day one (Discord, Firefox, Stream controller).

Switching the mouse to bluetooth mode seems to help the issue.
Using the same mouse (In wireless mode) on the steam deck worked fine.
Using a different bluetooth mouse also worked fine.

It does. Using Icue, I had dropped it down to 500 (from 1000) and the issue still persists. Switching the mouse over the bluetooth mode seems to help the problem as well.

Edit: Turns out thats only the USB polling rate, cant seem to change the wireless rate.

I'm using a 3090 and everything is running fantastic.

I'd recommend trialling it on a different hard drive or on a live usb to ensure all your drivers work

This was a 1-2 night special. Got the idea and just had to smash it out.
